In 2023 my father was diagnose with cancer. We were already poor. I was just starting to earn. I had to take him to mumbai from assam and had to stay there for 3 months. 3 months of hell. After surgery i bought him back. He had radiation therapy here, and another folowup surgery. Things are still not good. I am now 30 years old. I am neck deep i debt. Within 1 year i have to build a house or start doing so. I must for my girl's family to accept me. I dont know what will happen to me. Will I be able to survive. I didn't believe in god. But recent circumstance have made me do so. I think myself as a strong hearted man. I know i am. I am able to withstand shock or emotions. But listening to this song at 11.30 pm made me cry. I dont know why. I dont remember when i cried last time. I know its just life, nothing really counts at the end. But I dont want to die a failure. I am afraid i would die a failed man. God help me.

After reading all the positive comments, and how everyone seems to be touched in someway, I have come to the conclusion that everyone is experiencing the phenomenon that is God/ a higher supreme exsistence- call it what you may
The part of the body that is the soul( also through God) is responding to its source and finding immense peace in its remembrance and longing for its union.
Till then i will keep my tongue wet with
    Sallallah hu alhi wsalam ...

Why are some people in the comments acting like this song isn't Indian because its made by Muslim people.... what? Muslim people are very much part of our country and their work is very much indian. This is a qawwali written by Nizamuddin Auliya, an Indian Sufi Saint. And song is composed by A. R. Rahman, an Indian. This is Indian through and through. Sufism is a very integral part of our culture.

What is especially lovely is that the ensemble is wearing traditional Indian costume complete with bindiyas for the women, singing a Sufi kafi particular to the mystic tradition of Islam. If only we could all respect and share our beliefs with each other. As a Muslim woman from Pakistan, I salute my Indian brothers and sisters who sang this kalam with so much feeling and conviction. Hats off, or rather, Salaam aap sab ko. Dil se

    Yet you embraced me
    Only you are the Just,
    Only you are the Truth…
    Kun Faya Kun
    Kun Faya Kun…

As an Indian and a proud Hindu, I'm filled with pride knowing that such profound expressions of love and spirituality come from our rich cultural tapestry. Let's continue to cherish and celebrate the beauty of all religions, for they are the threads that weave together the fabric of our humanity !
Indeed, India's rich tapestry of tolerance and diversity sets a remarkable example for the world !!

This song can be appreciated without bringing religion in between. All I see "I am Hindu.., and I respect Islam" and many similar.
I just want to tell that such songs are not attached/connected to any religion... But to the divine.

Kun Fayakun refers to Almighty’s supreme and eternal power that if He wills something to happen, it happens. The use of the word “Kun” symbolises how easy it is for Allah to make things happen as this word consists of only two letters in Arabic which is easy to vocalise so Allah is telling us that it is easy for Him to impose his will as it is easy for us humans to pronounce the word “kun”

I have my own God but 2 times I was tuned to this song when I was worried, 1st time when i was waiting for my post graduation result and everybody had their results in their hands and my result was apprehended due to confusion and I had waited 6 hrs listening to this song and the second time when there was a party one and a half hr from my home town and I said to my wife, I would be back! At 330 Am , I played this song in my car, it was raining and I was drunk af, but I stuck to the chord to this orginal song😂and just drove and it was raining as " Cats and dogs" that day and i reached home at 5 am, I still remember the smile on my wife s face. It's not because of the religion associated with this song but because of the purity of the song wherever I hear it, I feel comfort, love and warmth and that somebody is taking Care of me and my family.

I don't comment on video on UA-cam but I just couldn't not say anything here. This was magical....feels like such a simple word for such an amazing feeling while listening to this and the fact no creed, caste or color mattered here, just humans being humans together and making this masterpiece. Loved it! I hope every time someone likes my comment I get reminded of this🥹🥺🤌✨
