FYI Brez started his second round saying [ Ok let's start with oscillator bot , oh .. I don't have it ] Oscillator bot is a new cool effect for mk2 only , and rythmind used it in both his rounds
I think Rythmimd got it because he was the defending champion. There was a bit of bias. Just like how all Americans got a bit of an advantage. When the 4 USA beatboxers get top 4 spots in the Elim, And Bizkit gets top 1 as well, it's weird. It's like they booked the champions like "okay colaps/river is a great final, which means they can afford to lose against Middle School, and that leaves a spot open for an American winner..." Probably not what happened but given the entire GBB was a controversial Shitshow I can see it being real.
@@steviejrr If they were all that much better, they'd have won. Instead only Inertia survived and landed a 4th place. And given we have proof of elimination votes being rigged, that's a far more plausible explanation than just "USA is the best". This isn't the beatboxers' fault, it's the whole organization. This is a tainted GBB no matter how you look at it.
i completely agree with u on the cover and mk2 machine part. its kinda weird that a competition as big as GBB dont even have rules about basics like this where its highly impact the competitors. feels like they only care about putting up shows and sales while very less concern on the competitor side.
I really think BREZ win, like objectively. I don’t want to sound like rude or biased, and I know every vote is decisive, but Beatness went for Rythmind since they are both in Berywam, and have been friends for years.
Thanks! Most of the shirts I wear are from Chubbies (not a sponsor lol) they change their stock pretty regularly and always have pretty colorful designs!
I like BreZ more cuzz his looping is more organic and clean, he really knows how to structure his rounds, he has a really good mixture between musicality and technicality for battling :-)
Maybe rythmind got the MK2 because he won GBB 2019 i'm not sure about that but it seems like that because he said to brez if u want a mk2 u have to win something once in your life .
When did I say that? Depends on if it was about brez or rythmind, if it was brez he put all of his songs up on his channel and I already watched those, if rythmind it probably reminded me of another song because both of his rounds used parts from other songs
Per the rules he could use another device to allow him to do it pretty fast, however since rythmind normally uses multiple devices and didn’t for his rounds against brez it makes me wonder if he did it to be like “1 device vs 1 device”, if that’s the case then I could see where you’re coming from. Unless you just think everyone should only have the one device in general, if so I get where you’re coming from, I like both single device and multi device loopers myself though but I could understand an argument for separate categories as the scene grows.
@@Dysexlic of course, but I'm saying it's maybe they should've had the rule that they all use the same machine. Equals out the playing field. No one gets a 1 up just by showing up. I mean like BreZ said, no one else had the chance to just go buy a MK2, it wasn't out at the time. So everyone should've used the mk1.
I think there were a few people that had the mk2 I don't remember their names off the top of my head. I had read it in another comment. But the synthesizer is the biggest factor and upgrade.
Anyone who was in the KBB or Judged the KBB has a Mk2, and then a couple others got them for promo material, so from GBB here's who had Mk2's that competed: - Rythmind - Robin - KBA - M-Age - Frosty However not all competitors used the MK2 in all their rounds, I know Rythmind used the MK1 in a couple of his older routines where he used second devices.
They both could have used multiple devices. I don't think it's unfair I simply choose the rounds from Brez. I think there should be 2 categories and if there were then we could say unfair, but there wasn't. I choose Brez for my reasons but it's not unfair it was just a great battle play by Brez
Hey sorry I don't know Indonesian, I tried turning on auto translate for indonesian but it only auto translates the video if I manually provide a transcript and I honestly don't have the time to do that.
Loopstation is not about singing.. it's about drops ^^ And 2nd round ==> as a metal fan, you should know the "cover" of thunderstruck ^^ Counter is massive... and 1st round was a bit for Brez, 2nd round was for Rythmind with 3 insane drops
I mean, for you maybe it's about drops, for me it's just about the energy, obviously drops are an easy way to create high energy but there are plenty of other ways to do that and powerful singing is one of those. However I'm not trying to say who I think 'should' have won, I'm saying who I liked more, I'm not qualified to disagree with what the judges said. I did recognize the cover as Thunderstruck, I guess maybe I didn't make that clear though because a few other people have commented that. I will say though that's not the kind of metal I'm a fan of, only know of it from movies/my parents. ua-cam.com/video/928l9OH9DW4/v-deo.html That's the kind of metal I'm a fan of, if you haven't heard of it I'd be interested to hear your thought!
How you can be so naive to think loop station is about drops, If you think that's the case how are you gonna justify Chris theodian making into top 8. Think about it☺️
I think the focus on device differences was blown a little out of proportion this battle, yes the mk2 has features the mk1 does not. But they are not judging based on the device they are judging based on criteria that Rythmind just met better. Also I'd like to highlight that Rythmind has beaten many many other loopers back when he had the MK1 and they were using multiple devices. I don't sympathize much with the device argument. People play competitive ESports and we all use different PC's but we don't hear people complaining about the PC's other people use. It's just my opinion though. And I agree they should standardize the devices to make it more fair, but that expectation is pretty unrealistic.
I get where you're coming from and can agree for the most part, and I also agree that in the end it obviously is more about the skills of the individual than the amount/types of devices they have, however there's a big difference between me and you having different computers while competing in a game, because it is theoretically possible for us to have the same exact PC, it was impossible for BreZ to have the MKII and that's where I start to actually see it as a problem. I don't complain that Frosty has 3 devices and that it's not fair (although I can understand why people would) because anyone could get those same 3 devices (ignoring $$) however it does seem unfair to me that some competitors were able to use a device with improved audio quality as well as many other new features that other competitors could not use even if they wanted to. Also the comparison to eSports is a bit dated most large eSports require standardized PC's, for LAN events this is always the case, I'm sure smaller online eSports that's an issue but typically if you're at the level that you're competing at the largest tourneys for the game you play you're going to be using standardized gear that everyone else also can use. Similarly in traditional sports, there are rules to what you can/can't wear to make sure it's a level playing field.
sorry for everything. either ryhmint or brez supporters. Let's be mature together in this race. I think and believe that the jury and the audience know who deserves to win. and that we can see from the judges judging and the audience listening to their every performance and I really agree that ryhmint won. and it's proven how the audience's expression with ryhmint's performance is far from brezz where the audience's expression is just ordinary. and I'm sure the comments on the swissbeatbox channel are mostly brezz supporters who don't accept being defeated. in quality ryhmint jaul better. and also forgot to look at the expressions of the judges. the key is to look at the audience and the judges. let you know who deserves to win
