the metallic blue completely cleared, smoothed her skin, as if she'd put on a foundation

Her skin on its own is beautiful and a beautiful color...the metallic blue made her skin look radient.

Gorgeous lady, both inside and outside! I love her gray hair, too. She looks stunning in her palette. A pleasure to watch both of you interacting and working out the palette!

I don't know if I've ever seen a palette fit someone so perfectly. All the colours in that fan near the end look brilliant on her.

I loved this. I wouldn't say any colours were bad but some were definitely WOW on her.

I think the black looks amazing on her. And white looks good too. The cherry red and Royal blue were amazing. They draw attention to her big eyes. She can tolerate pattern. You do a wonderful job Sarah.

Love that you did a PoC AND that lovely gray hair! ❤ Spot on analysis and easy to follow. There’s a clear difference between „don’t mind it“ and „wow“.

Great video! May you please make a video about unexpected colors for each season, like light colors that are a part of the winter palette other than white and grey?

Definitely the deep winter suited her best, but she's gorgeous and can get away with some others. Great video, thank you!

When you put the hot pink up, she popped off the screen-dead giveaway and that original white was also beautiful-she’s clear and gorgeous! A midnight blue suit with a magenta scarf would be stunning on her☺️

Possibly the lighting but I preferred the light summer to the autumn colours on her as a sister season. Maybe not head to foot but 6to mix with the brighter winter colours.

Unfortunately, the colors that look best on me are rarely found in clothes. Maybe in men's clothes or Neiman Marcus clothes, but not accessible clothes.

She looks so beautiful in her colours! Did I miss it, but was it mentioned if that’s her own hair colour? I’m always interested to know.😊 It is very pretty on her.
Also, I don’t know this system, but do you have different versions of black for the three winters?
    I really enjoy your videos!

I was wondering if you should adjust colors of outfit or makeup , if you know say the lighting is in like a old theater. If the lighting is low and very warm due to gold ceilings and sconce lighting. I am a deep autumn and I’d be asking for all seasons but mainly deep autumn. If having a selfie or photographs should you dress in a palette outside of season or to just adjust to known light. I like going to concerts at the same place so I am curious what colors of clothing and makeup will be beautiful with that type of light on my skin and how you work with it all within color choices. Even being outside and getting a picture looks so much warmer than I feel I look. Just wondering how to use this color theory and seasons even more.

@@sarahryanthestylecoach Thank you. I’ll definitely watch.. it’s fun learning how to use colors in this way. It’s a challenge too, especially on thing like lighting or even just your backdrop at work all day. Figuring out color combinations or what will make you look nice in different settings. You don’t always know what will be in photos with you but my two favorite concert venues I can predict some of it. Like in August it’s an amphitheater that’s off white with natural glow of setting sun and a bit of stage lights but warm whites and brows along with trees and cute housing. I mean it’s easy to go to an almost fall event as a fall season. Still I’m just do wonder how you go about these sort of things. For another example, all day , up to 11 hours , I’m in a classroom with very bright yellow walls and a large bay window and the warm type of old ceiling lights. As an autumn can I wear anything to look nice with mostly primary yellow, blues and reds, a lot of light woods too. I have it a lemonade theme with cyan ish blue and pink and yellow lemonade colors. I think you’ll cover some of this but it where my head is at. I’m not trying to obsess about it. We all want to be in our best version of ourselves though. I never used to care but starting to. I do when getting photos with my favorite artists because you want to match them and not look frumpy or overpower the image etc. Sometimes you just look out of place or the lighting changes everything. At the Warner especially because it’s a lot of warm light casting over the image, everything gets warm yellow or gold. Can you find ways to really work with known lighting and color situations? I’d assume it’s how they do wedding planning but everything is very as it suggest planned. Anyway I’m looking forward to your insight.

This was an incredibly thorough analysis! Especially when coming to the fork in the road of being in between two seasons. I'd love to see more of these types of troubleshooting scenarios when similar dilemmas arise. Beautiful job!

Question from a potentially dark winter -do we need to be able to wear dark or bold lipstick well? I feel like they’re okay, but those colors make my already full lips look so big😳😅

    • @sarahryanthestylecoach
      @sarahryanthestylecoach  Рік тому +2

They shouldn't look out of place but you must lean into the results that you want. Some people will want a fuller looking lip, others don't. There are other choices within Dark Winter that don't have to be so dark :)
