See that’s the part that confused me. Obviously she was asking if they had gotten pregnant together, right? For him to say he would have been happy for her made it seem like she was asking what if she cheated and had gotten pregnant. I’m pretty sure the first question is what she was asking, but he used the second answer to avoid having to say that he wouldn’t want to have a family with her, and he wouldn’t be excited. This happened to my sister. Her boyfriend made sure she was on the pill and lo and behold, had a whoops with another woman. It broke my sister’s heart even though she braved up and cut the cad loose. Turns out he and his new wife split after 3 years. Better yet turns out the kid was not even his. Sometimes Karma serves all of us well. My sister poured her energies into her work. Had a wonderful portfolio with 3 properties, one in Las Vegas and 2 in Hawaii. She decided kids were not for her and is living a truly wonderful life having called all the shots in all of her relationships! Find your backbone ladies. It’s so worth it!
P. S. He apologized to her, wanted to keep her as a side chick and my sister laughed at him. He had 2 heart attacks a few years later. He was an invalid until his very miserable death 20 years later. I could have kept this info for spite but true life is a bitch mistress sometimes. She had no regrets about how everything turned out.

I know exactly what poor Whitney went through, because I went through it myself, too. There was a guy in my life whose loving me didn't mean anything. In fact, I don't really believe he ever loved me. He just strung me along. Then, he blocked me on all his phones and all of social media he was on.
I get it. The hurt she has can't even be explained. I had something similar happen. We weren't engaged, but he was 2 weeks away from moving in with me. We were supposed to start our family and live our lives. Only for me to get an email (not a phone call, not a text, not a face to face) that he wasn't coming. He told me through email that he won't answer my calls because he knows how much it's gonna hurt me. He just couldn't make the move. I then find out that he got someone pregnant, unplanned. He didn't know about it, and she let him know and he decided to be with her because he got her pregnant. Now he has the house with the picket fence, the instant family .. and I have nothing. I know the hurt she has.. and its a hurt that can't be explained. It sucks.
