You know, this track has kind of been a "home game" for Gordon over the years. He was born in Vallejo, and you could hear the cheers for him almost any time he led at this track.
@@michaelbelcher8805 also Stewart won at glen in 2007 where Jeff Gordon spun in turn 1 with 2 to go. İt was lucky win for Tony. İt would have been Gordon's 10 victories to Stewart's 7
that win in 1999 was hard fought, and he busted his butt off here, now you may think, "well he had a hard charging 6 car behind him", but that's just the beginning, he had laryngitis, sore throat and wasn't feeling well at all, he was getting weak inside the car, but after all that, he managed to hang on and win, now answer me this, do you think NASCAR drivers are not athletes????
I was there in 2014, he was very close to making it #6.

i have lived so close to this track all my life and all my nascar memories are of Gordon in that rainbow dupont 24 taking the win
Everytime the circuit goes to sonoma, a good 70% of the fans are Gordon fans like me... Gotta support the hometown kid.
Here and Indy... but after 2007 everyone liked him
The king of road courses, Indy, and Martinsville
JJ4824 king everywhere lol
And Daytona, maybe.
Tont Stewart Challenges him on RCs. You forget Stewart has 3 at Sonoma and 5 at Watkins Glenn, so only one less than Gordon

volkan uzuğ yeah but Gordon made a mistake. Stewart was there to capitalize. It would have been undeserved if Stewart wreaked Gordon
Jeff Gordon was the road coarse king.....I miss this era.
Master of Sonoma.
Jeff Gordon is my hero going to miss him
This is why i like jeff gordon
That was his home race
