That is strange how eggman's parents are never brought up at all... like never. Even Gerald only real lore is tied directly to shadows origins and that's it. We really have no real lore about the robotnik family.

Mainly that Eggman DID in fact grew up around his parents and extended family (no idea to what extent tho) and that his cousin Maria was the family darling, they never stopped mourning her death, which kind of made him feel neglected as a child. Lee could be completely right tho, his parents might have stayed away from the Robotnik legacy by choice after the Ark fiasco. Maybe Eggman cut his family off to pursue world domination.
