Good morning! Yesterday was nasty here in NC. Tornado warning at 3:08 pm yesterday and my kids school kept them there and I'm glad they did everything they could to keep the kids safe and calm. They didn't release the kids until almost 5 pm. Power didn't come back until nearly 10:30ish last night. I saw some interesting colors yesterday before the storm hit. Hope everyone is safe today.
After the past few days storms, what I've learned is, don't trust the colors for the potential storm areas.

Good morning Mitch. Because of you yesterday we had time to remind neighbors we have a storm cellar. Some showed up after things started. 6 to 7 ins. of rain here in South Rutherford County. It didn't hit us as bad as it did many. Praying for everyone and the first responders and the neighbors helping neighbors. And yes it could have been worse but God was merciful to the masses. 13 tornados across different states. So pray folks for them please.

I saw this morning on X that the weather officer in Memphis did a poor job in warning their residents of tornadoes. If anyone here lives near there, or anywhere else that this happens, try a different way to get alerts. Find a weather app, or UA-cam channel you can follow on your phone, or other device.
I have family in the possible target areas in Texas. Please pray for their safety, and I will pray for y’all, and a safe chase.

Im basically in atlanta and theres not much moisture right now unless it gets pulled up before hand. Last night was very sticky however

Morning Mitch, I don’t normally ask for prayers but I am going through something really scary for me. I’m having headaches and head pressure everyday. The pressure drives me mad and I’m pushing my family away because I am un bearable to be around. I’m only 35 and have 3 kiddos. I’m not ready to die yet. 🙏🏻

I’ve been trying to decider this whole weeks serve weather - Monday was the biggest numbers ever yet was nearly a bust, however, the lower days have been majoooooor!! I believe it’s time for the weather community to sit down and maybe make some changes. Appreciate the videos man! God speed
Part of it is not enough radar. There are empty spots where radar can get to because it's aimed wrong and hills make it look up 15 thou ft when it may need to be down to 3 thou

Good morning Mitch and God keep you safe on the storm chasing. Yes, you do "know your stuff". People should know things can change once the upload button is pushed. That's weather and that's life. In San Diego we'll see a partly sunny 67, We're blessed, no hail, no tornadoes. I thought you were saying "Boeing line of storms" and that confused me. I turned on captions and yes you said Boeing a few times. I'm dense, can you explain even though I know the name Boeing? I hope the storms aren't scaring your girls. Lord be with all of you.

Good morning Mitch!! Let me say Tuesday evening I didn’t hardly rest at all. My weather alerts were going off all night. I literally did not get to sleep till 3 am. I was tired but I was aware we were under a 3/5 yesterday and was prepared to stay up all night again and even sent my two older kids to their grandparents because they have a storm shelter. I went to bed early and woke up well rested and grateful! I am happy to report we didn’t see a drop of rain, no lightning, no thunder! It’s like it went above us and under us. I am not ashamed to admit I hate everyone else had to deal with the dangerous weather but mama is happy my babies all of them got to sleep peacefully!! Anyway Thank you for your daily weather forecasts they are so very helpful!! I hope all went well at your church last night Congrats!!! ❤❤ 18:20

We didn’t have any Doppler much less satellites or accurate forecasts when I was a young adult. Storms had far more deaths then also! It still amazes me how most people survive now ❤ even if the houses don’t.

NWS took out the Tornado risk for the Ohio Valley in latest update so that is good. Still have wind and hail risk
If you`re in a hurricane zone get a high quality long-range AM radio receiver and a way to power a USB fan and recharge devices/batteries from a solar panel before the next one hits. A very sensitive AM radio can get important news/info during the DAY up to 300 miles away when everything else is damaged and out of service in your region. This happened to my area during and after hurricane Laura but I was still able to get very important information for my community.
Good morning Mitch , quite historic event with so many rotating storms,hail flash flooding all at once across so many states. Unfortunately how this atmosheric set up was broad from west to east may be a more common weather event (imo) we are lacking strong cold fronts from the nw to move these storms through quickly. So now we had another east to west boundary setup with storms training over the same areas, with some towns having repeated tornado warnings. Also so other things come into play with the neutral phase, also i been reading on solar maximum studies which is also taking place, very interesting research on this event. There are quiet years and there are active years. It cycles like everything else in weather.
We’re getting into a La Niña. Tornadoes tend to be more violent during a La Niña year vs a El Niño year and the jet stream winds are stronger

All I know is that I have been watching the weather patterns for most of my adult life (54 years) have never seen this many tornado 🌪️ outbreaks in so many states at once over such a large area as the past few years and it seems like it’s growing 😢 Praying for everyone affected 🙏❤️
I live in dogtown opposite mountain of henagar. It seems like the slightest storms could just explode on sand mountain. How did the spc miss this? It went from 0-10000 so fast. My ex brother in laws dad was trapped in his camper in henagar and bleeding from his head. They had to cut his camper open to get him out. Absolutely insane night

After finally getting to see a tornado in person ( Mullica Hill Ef3 ) I’m good off them , they’re not as cool as I felt they’d be, absolutely terrifying lol. What’s the chance of seeing somthing bad in New Jersey today?
