Hey bro, might be off topic but I'm interested in Chemistry. I wanna get into IISc, IISER, IIT or any other top institution.
I've studied SCERT syllabus till 10th with no prior coaching for NCERT and maybe I'll get some decent coaching in +1 and +2. Our financial affordability is really pathetic and even if I do somehow make it into I'm hoping for a fully funded scholarship to cover the fees.
So does a middle class student like me have a chance at all? Even if I become a chemical researcher and fullfil my ambition, the salary is still below par (and I really do need money).
So should I change my path and go mainstream and try to become a Doctor/Engineer? (I might still not be able to clear JEE but I can attempt KEAM or just go to a local college. There's a lot of career gudiance when it comes to becoming a Doctor or Engineer)
It doesn't matter what or how much you studied till 10th. What matters is how you are going to study in 11th and 12th. Work harder and get into top colleges in the nation. And about the salary part, I believe that if you are an expert at one thing, you can make a very decent money out of it
U can, if u get into iist and maintain a high score every semster, clg fee will be completly free, (iist is directly under isro, so u can easily get into isro after ur btech degree) if u want became a researcher iisc is the best opction iiser also good. I think u get scholarship too there, if u dont have money for coaching try to prepare through online coaching( which is quit cheap) while doing 11 and 12th. If u stay consistant enough u can crack jee and other entrace exams. Also, decide it now, so u dont have to waste ur 11th and 12t. It doesnt matter if u studied scert, base syllabus for jee is ncert. It will be little difficult to understand ncert syllabus for first time, but it will become okey.
