I'm a teacher (and a student, not for pilot, I'm too old for that, but I'm studying Japanese) and I like these tips very much. I have never used the timeline, in a school, with exams every week, you don't have much time to do that. I will add one key tip: build a rutine. Have a time where you ALWAYS study, so you don't even have to think about it and you don't forget it. It doesn't have a specific time in hours and minutes, but say, before dinner, after lunch, whatever works best for you.
Love the 747-400 reference in the background and the 747 model on the stand. The "Queen of the Skies".Such an iconic aircraft and legacy over more than five decades.!.
To avoid my phone addiction which is a major distraction. I administer micro doses as if i was on rehab to help balance my attention span. So much so that i don't suffer withdrawal from having it afar but purposefully using it so as to be able to learn to control myself Instinctively in a battle of focus vs pleasure. Its a one way landslide. But by constant training the balance act becomes a habit and the urge to seek dopamine fades enabling objective study Thanks Cap tho👻
Heads up folks, Cut Joe book is well worth reading. When I was studying for B1 grade I found music helpful, as if you play a memorable song to a specific part, then on the day play the songs again before you take test. Great video as always joe
Traffic was so bad in my city I just ended up finding a way to do my homework in my car. I learned to write clearly and fast when on the go. When it wouldn’t be exactly possible to write, I’d complete readings and do some active recall whenever I get to school or home.
Great advice , a good pilot's always learning . Best classroom the world. I agree totally , too much time spent on phones , I love the advice to set a timer , when I studied , often , to help me remember , I would make up stupid songs , little ditties . It was a lesson learnt at Sunday school , we sang songs that were scripture . . Thanks @captain joe . Ur information is great
Hello captain would you suggest an international student to train in USA or Europe from Asia where one can get better work opportunities after immediately completing training
@@gintautasnik5214 it was actually genuine? Sorry, never realized someone would actually do that and not be a troll. Sorry if my tone came off as angry. I hope my answer afterward helped you though.
@ It did, thanks. The reason I am asking that because I’ve heard sportsman don’t do it before competition, not sure if it’s a myth or not and would it apply to taking an exam.
I'm gonna stop my studying session to see this. Nice start

Hi Joe. Is having sex a night before an exam is a good idea? Thanks
Dont ever comment something like this ever again. And no, go study, go sleep well, then bang the night after your exam.
@aspiringcaptain this is a genuine question with no offence. Apologies if it disturbed you.
