Whether we get it in this update or in a long time, I’m really hoping that they have kept their vision for more hazards like malfunctioning doors etc
so that dispatchers have an actual reason to check interlock lights

Since this is a major update, we will have to wait for a while (like the community forgot to do), but we will have frequent sneak peeks, so the game will be active. As for the stuff you said, that is coming in Disruption Events: Part 2, which idk when it will release

It's obvious that Stepford Central needs a full upgrade. I hope they add longer and more platforms for both express and airlink. About leighton area, the express (fast) routes shouldn't have to stop on lsr.
Exactly I think all of us have been waiting for Stepford central to get a upgrade it hasn’t been updated for like 3 years or more of less Stepford Victoria has had an upgrade so why not Stepford central and I also hope that when it does get an upgrade I hope that they do and mrke express and AL platform’s because when rush hour happens for express and AL we don’t have to wait for a train to leave.
I’m hoping they add the ability to (likely with the help of a signaler) couple trains together, it would be cool as hell to be able to connect to your buddies train and just have a monster train rolling around the network
Another thing that i think may come is the new signaler training from the training section of the game
Yes, someone told me who found this from a content creator that leaked it, said that signaling will become very limited in 2.0 because of trolls.
A new interesting feature would be the possibility of bringing your train back to the depot. I think it will be added soon because if you look at some sidings they added tracks that are going in the depot/siding in a few places. Hampton Hargate Siding as an example.

and another thing i think may come is the class 385 on connect or maybe some sprinters 150-156 on WL but i have a feeling the tracks will get upgraded to mesh model but i have a feeling we will see interactive doors where passengers can open the door manually instead of it being driver operated (E to Open Door/E to Close Door.)

Doubt, there's no indication as to that becoming a possibility, and I dont think they are focusing on that rn. If it comes later then that would be interesting.
i think they might add the aspect where you open doors yourself because at 1:00 in the sneak peak, the doors are shown with an unlock, which could mean the doors unlock but don’t open

Why would the doors not open automatically with a push of a button? I swear all trains just have buttons that do that.
@@BeanzAviation3967 just on the underground I believe, the button in the cab is to unlock them so passengers can open them if they wish.
they NEED to add shiftlock fr. But with ctrl keybind like most games do. So we have sprinting and shiftlock each in their own place and not conflicting with any keybind.
I hope they will add the pantograph feature the functionally level crossing features and maybe more that is not been added yet
scr should add ai trains imo, it will make some deserted sections of the map more active
a few express stations have the functionality for 9 car trains, and some even 11 car, so im hoping for the class 390 and class 395, and the class 390 has a tmo (train managers office) which could be part of guarding 2.0 where the guard has to make announcements and such as well as open doors

I think it will release in around late 2024 or early 2025. Due to is a new big update instead of the more smaller ones so it will be reasonable to be this late
Yes it is a major update but they dont take that long lmao. I am expecting May 2024. Y'all forgot it doesnt take THAT long for a big update (think 1.8, 1.9, 1.10)

When it comes to the guard panel, I’m not too sure if I’d really want that. I mean, O built my own physical panel so I don’t have to use keybinds, I don’t want to be forced to use keybinds when I have a guard panel sitting on my desk that used to work with SCR. I do hope they add something so I can work around this, if not, I might be contacting devs to see what they can do.
Oh yeah I saw your guard panel, it looks so good possibly there might be a option to use that
@@SWTrainspotting I don't know what option there is going to be, Bantech reached out to see if I could implement something where it detects when I've inserted the key, so I know it was (not sure if it still is) something the dev team are aware I've made. I'll be really disappointed if there is nothing I can do because I built the panel specifically with SCR in mind, being able to use it with BR too is just a bonus. If something isn't added from the get go, I'll defo be in contact with the devs in any way I can.

I would not mind having a guard on my train, but dispatchers are constantly chiding drivers about being late. Guards make you late. So until all the craziness stops I'm no longer taking on any guards. The system makes no sense.

Nope, otherwise it's unrealistic, would have to be 9 or 11 coaches. The community doesn't want a repeat of the class 701 or 700
Also 8 coach variant, which used to be existant in real life.

The 345 is too slow at 90 mph so I don’t think it can go to Stepford Central
The 508 isnt gonna be meshed sadly its gonna get replaced by the 313 :(
The Double Class 387 won't be the only longer train which will come in SCR V2.0. I currently want the Class 700 on Airlink. And even the 9 Car Class 345 on the Terminals Shuttle, Even the Double Class 802, And the Class 745 when Platforms get Extended to 236.6 Metres.
Not 700 on airlink, only if it did stopping services betweeen stepford and the airport
The Class 700 should never have routes from LSR.

My prediction for 2.0 is that the last 3 NGV1 trains get meshed, that pantograph button which has been taunting us for years will finally work, and hopefully, a select bunch of trains come to the game

They should add the class 373, 374, 390 and/or the class 395
The 373 and 374 are eurostars. They do not only operate in the UK. And they are WAY too fast. The 390 could fit. There are 9-10 car markers so why not? And the platforms seem to be long enough
@@STOPonlinedating 373 was used by GNER at the speed of only 201 kmh / 125 mph , but yes still too long
The 390 it's a possibility once the platforms are extended to fit but others are a no for obvious reasons.
395 would be perfect as it's got 6 cars. It could be added into SCR as it is now.

Your game is nice but can you take a double decker Train in the game/ and the citys have to be bigger. Back the Hauses is nathing. And pls take a Express (class) with 7 coges or express 10 couges (double)
I’m not a developer for the game, I barley play this game, I just made a video on what I think will come in the next update and what’s expected. There will not be a double decker trains in game as only British trains are allowed. There are no British double decker trains.
Please no realistic tracks... my game already lags when entering the Stepford Central area with its detailed catenary 😢

Not at all lol, it's still going to be bad, worse than other roblox railway simulators.
In fact, SCR has done a good job and can provide experience to those who don’t have money to buy train sim world. At least the operation in SCR is relatively friendly.
The game needs a physics revamp for 2.0. The game still uses the same physics engine it did 5 odd years ago. unfortunately the "go-karts on rails" game format appeals to young kids who make up a large part of the SCR fanbase so I'm not sure this will come any time soon. However I'd hope that 2.0 would bring large changes - its a pretty major update designation after all. A physics revamp would definitely make me play again.
