Really lovely ornaments and I already have a ton of molds. I've made salt dough ornaments using plain cookie cutters not thinking youd get all that lovely detail. * Heres a tip: I usually buy fresh spices in the fall for baking, so I throw all the old spices into the dough; cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, cloves, pumpkin spice, etc. I also have cinnamon essential oil I can add.
These are lovely! Thank you for showing how to make them! I am wondering if any sort of cookie mold can be used, or does it only work with wood molds? I have some Longaberger molds and I'm wondering if they would work? Also, are these very delicate? I'd like to make some to send to some friends as gifts, but I'm worried about sending them through the mail. Finally (sorry about so many questions!), do you seal them with anything like perhaps a matte spray when they are finished baking? Thank you!
Thank you! Sometimes it helps to see the steps. These are beautiful! I love the realistic animal ornaments. I have ordered the bird, a squirrel, and I already had the rabbit!🌲🌲🌲
Hi I forgot to mention, can you use the cookies cutter? And would they last for a long time? I wanted to make some and put them in the Christmas tree. Thank you.
Blessings in an abundance of the faith in Jesus Christ. I salute you. 😘🙏 Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. Thank you. God bless you. Thank you God for our memories in making these ornaments. I’m appreciative of those memories. Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and personal saviour??? I do. 🌲 🎁

My husband and I just made them and they are beautiful!
They looks so pretty 💕💕💕
Beautiful and they smell good too!!!
They smell pretty strong when they are cooking, but they calm down to a nice fragrant cinnamon when they cool.
Thank you!

Lovely ! I like the distressed/frosty look.
Me, too! I love how they turned out!

Hi - yes, you can use cookie cutters and the ornaments do last for years, with proper storage - happy crafting!
Where can I get molds to buy
