    If you are worried the glucose test can be done at any time in pregnancy as it is necessary to know whether you have gestational diabetes. If your urine test is not testing positive for increased sugar then you are likely ok. Please contact your doctor.

    Hi Vanessa,
    Thank you for contacting us.
    Yes a UTI may be the cause of your spotting but I would bring this to the attention of your doctor who can reassure you that all is well.
    Kind regards

    Dear Nabeela, Thanks for writing. Glad you are enjoying the videos. It sounds like you have a flu but it's hard for me to tell over youtube. I would suggest speaking to a doctor if you are worried. A doctor will be able to help you much better by seeing you in person. Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Shalom, it depends on hospitals, the minimum they offer is 1 scan. This however can very from hospital to hospital and from country to country. There is no restriction on the amount of ultrasounds that you can have really. Ultrasound is safe and painless, and produces pictures of the inside of the body using sound waves. I hope this helps. Kind regards

    Hello Jade, Thank you for contacting us. As long as you feel the baby every day don't worry about the strength of the movements. Movements can be stronger or weaker dependent upon baby's position. There are no reliable ways to figure out the gender except by an ultrasound. The rest as you say are just that....old wives tales. Kind regards Monica

    Hello Marwa, thank you for contacting us. Hyperpigmentation is common in pregnancy. This darkening of the skin can happen across the breasts and underarms as well. It can be more prominent in some women, dependant upon race and skin tones. This will fade after pregnancy. If you are concerned please ask you doctor. Kind regards Monica

    Hi Shaunachurch,
    Thank you for contacting us.
    It can sometimes be difficult to get a baby to move when they have found a comfortable spot. Try lightly massaging your upper abdomen where his feet are to get him to move his legs. You can also try getting on all fours this usually helps baby turn as well.
    Congratulations on your pregnancy.
    Kind regards
    Monica

    I just lost my baby at 24 weeks (stillbirth)... Preeclampsia came and progressed so fast and by the time the doctor's ran tests on me and then the day I came back for my test results the baby was gone that day.. I just want my baby back and it really sucks I am going through all the health problems of bad Preeclampsia when I did everything I could to try and avoid it.

    • @murdige
      @murdige 7 років тому +5

      Lauren Kayy it's not your fault- the healthiest person I know with extremely good habits had preeclampsia. Hope you are doing ok, loss is the worst.

      Yeah true.. I literally avoided caffeine, fast foods, candy.. And I ate tofu often, fruits, veggies, salads, unaffiliated tea, lots of water, and etc.. It sucks that she died during 6 1/2 months of pregnancy. I blame the doctor's because I saw 4 different ones and then kept sending me home saying I was fine and the baby was. And none of them tested me until 2 days before my daughter died and the doctor was rude to me and told me to drink more water and everything would be fine but then I went to another doctor a couple days later and she was gone and 2 doctors told me that day that her heart stopped beating and the radiologist then took pictures and said my baby hadn't grown for 4 weeks. How did those awful doctors not notice she was so behind in growth if they measured her every time I saw them and went to the radiologist on two different occasions while she was alive? It's definitely their fault cause they could have listened to me and helped me and my daughter and given her growth hormones so she could have been born early and survived. No one else I know who ended up getting severe Preeclampsia disease lost their baby (all their doctors listened to them and their babies lived).

    Thank you for very informative videos, I'm first time pregnant and in past I'd 3 miscarriages. Right now I'm 24 weeks pregnant, since 2nd trimester I'm constantly getting yeast infection, my doctor in Germany has prescribed me antibiotics which helped me to get rid of itchiness but I'm still odorless thick green discharge and went to 2 other gynecologists while my doctor was on vacation & what they prescribed me also didn't help. I also take Vaginal Flora tabs & use PH safety stuff but in vain.

    I never made it to my 24th weeks. I started dilating in my 23rd week and didn't even know. My baby was breeched so I had no choice but to have her. she was suppose to be here 2/19/14 but she was born October 25, 2013. 4 months early. She is in Jackson getting cared for and I'm here in Meridian. It hurts like hell but she is getting better day by day. But its very stressful for me. My first pregnancy and I never made it to the end. How did I not know that... It just hurts my heart

    hello doctor ! I'm 24 weeks and 1 day today , 3 days ago I can't clearly notice my baby kicks and movement, but prior to that last Monday I had an ultrasound and it was normal ,heart beat 135 beats/ minute / anterior placenta! is it normal that after my ultrasound, I can't feel my baby move?thanks and God bless Doctor Monica

    • @carmenbarr4830
      @carmenbarr4830 7 років тому +1

      Shiela mendoza That could be because of the position of the placenta. It's hard to feel baby kick when the placenta blocks the foot from your tummy.
