Lost my wife in November 2017 and then heard Craig Aven sing this a few weeks later; I just dissolved and still do when I hear this song. A classic song because of the reassuring comfort that she is with her Lord and Saviour and that I'll see her again after I meet with Jesus.

Was ich nicht wissen konnte ist, dass dieses Lied, dieses Jahr ganz besonders, mein Herz berührt.
Mein Tränen laufen mir übers Gesicht, während ich schreibe.
Mein Mann Robert ist im August, mit 66 Jahren ganz überraschend gestorben. Ich kenne ihn schon mein ganzes Leben und er ist meine große Liebe, von Kindheit an. Ich vermisse ihn so sehr.
Dieses Lied, von Dir gesungen, gibt mir etwas Trost...Robert ist bei Jesus, bei Gott.

I’m so sorry for the late reply. I’m so sad to hear about your husband’s passing. That kind of loss is beyond my comprehension and I can’t imagine the pain you must feel. Our Savior is the only one that can bring you that peace. May He fill you with comfort and peace. All my love ❤️

Thank you, Both! I so appreciate this song, Craig! My loss is still fresh after a year & 3mths. The only peace I have is KNOWING that my MOM is face to face with Jesus!! Hanging out with Loveland said have gone before her particularly my grandma which was my mentor! God bless you This Christmas.
