Did you end up buying the collection? I saw that you were queued at check-out in your IG story.
My general goal with my makeup collection is to be able to finish everything (or at least use up a decent amount) before it expires, so eyeshadow palettes in general aren't my thing. There's too much potential for dupes between palettes and I don't tend to use light mattes and midtoned browns that are included in a lot of palettes.
I haven't watched Avatar, but I was very tempted by The Nightmare Before Christmas x Melt Palette. Non of the shade would have been exact dupes for what I already own and Melt's palettes tend to have removable pans, so I had a hard time talking myself out of it. The price and ordering from the US were the reasons I didn't get it, tho'. Now looking back on it, I'm glad I didn't get it. While I would have probably used the shades in the palette, I wouldn't have picked up any of them as singles to fill holes in my collection.

Yes I was able to pick it up but it was a nightmare! My next Friday video I’m going to talk about the whole process, I feel bad for everyone that was involved because I haven’t seen a situation like that since pre-2020! For me eyeshadow palettes don’t really expire 🫢 but it’s because they are powders and they don’t really have the same issue has liquids. I also am normally not a collector at all, I don’t want that mentality, but I love Avatar so much so I really wanted to get it and I wasn’t going to but my husband said why not so I did! I had checked out my collection ahead of time to see what I could dupe and some of the mattes I could but fewer than I actually thought
