    We don't have a youtube account but I will send you some video of our "hill" in northern Nevada...lol! We don't have to buy aggregate - the whole damn mountain is a rock! LOL!!

      There is no rock at all on the lower third of our property. Where I was working at in this video is fairly rocky. On top of the hill there are rocks larger than my tractor.
      If you did want to share something I have a Facebook page with the same name

    Nice camera view of the box blade in action looking down from the back of the tractor. Good job moving all that dirt.

    A bigger back hole with a front loader would be ideal for what your doing. Maybe look into county auctions or used on buy-sell-trade sites. Cause with a full size back hole loader would be easier. Dig with the back hole and then move your spoils with the bigger front loader. I know costs and having the funds.

    Man I just can't get over the amount of rock you have just below the surface. I guess I have a similar situation, just that it's tree roots. Don't know which one I'd rather have. Great vid as always.

    Wow I would say that turned out really good. I’ve got to get going on my top and tilt set up. You look like a professional doing that. You wouldn’t want to sell that top cylinder that you broke would you? I think I could fix it and use it on my tractor.…

    Man, I've fought an cussed through a 800ft driveway 10ft wide.... then realized that my box has rippers. Wasn't that bad of a job after that. I've got plenty of those moments that I think back on and laugh at. 😂

    • @RockhillfarmYT

      Yeah, I knew better than that. My only excuse is sometimes I’m so focused on the cameras and what I want to say that I forget about the actual job at hand

      @@RockhillfarmYT I "cut" a good 3 acre strip once, only yo realize the sheer pin broke on the drive shaft shortly after I glanced back to check everything. I drove an hour and a half back home because I forgot my tractor key only to find it in my jacket pocket that was in the truck. It happens to the best of us.

    Would you recommend this box blade?

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  2 роки тому

      Yes. Not a lot to go wrong on a box blade but I put a lot of hours on it and had no problems. Seems well-built and not likely to break.
      I think it’s appropriately sized to the tractor the only other consideration is whether I would rather have this or a land plane

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  2 роки тому

      Could except I do a project like this every day. Almost 500 hours on the tractor in the last year which is why I’m in the market for a skid steer
      Everything you do with the tractor could be done better with a bigger machine but sometimes you use what you have

    • @Jtwizzle
      @Jtwizzle 2 роки тому

      Well the tractor is kinda the jack of all trades. Itll get most tasks done, maybe a bit slower.. and that's what matters. One would go broke trying to get the perfect piece of equipment for every job.
