The “Capital Cities” part is wrong. The capital of the PH IS Manila, period. NOT Metro Manila. Metro Manila is a metropolitan area comprised of different cities-the city of Manila, the nation’s capital, included-and one municipality all together called the National Capital Region otherwise known as the NCR. If you’re talking about just plain capital of the Philippines the answer would be the City of Manila only, not the whole metro.

Tha Philippines are classified into regions Region 1-13, especial regions such as ARRM etc......and one of them in NCR comprises 16 clustered cities or the NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION. But if we are talking about CAPITAL of a country it is MANILA city. It is the oldest city in the Phil......and the center of commerce since before Spanish era. Chinese and Arab merchants conducted business in the Philippines long before Magellan came. Hence when sonebody ask " what the capital of the philippines is" the answer is MANILA CITY it is the east of these other 15 clustered cities.

Although Manila City the one City is truly the Capital city of the Philippines but as a whole including the other 15 cities such as Makati City, BGC, Pasig City, Mandaluyong City etc.. we called it Metro Manila. We only have 1 capital city which is MANILA. Manila is in NCR(National Capital REGION) or better known as METRO MANILA. But not all the cities inside metro manila is considered the capitalS of the Philippines. A little bit confusing but it is what it is hahaha 😂 i guess the person who made it got confused with city and region or manila and metro manila.

Our band is called BOB which stands for Band of Brothers in memory of our younger brother Bob who passed away in 2001. Texting Capital of the World
Since then Filipinos really are addict texting, its when smartphones are not yet born. Texting is our main communication. Before group chats we already had 'clans' where there are a lot of members from different cities and we do meet ups or eyeball occasionally so we can see every each of the members.

before fb messenger or any internet based messaging apps, texting is widely used even me as a student back then, but now when the internet is more accessible its both internet based and text messaging (sms) imo.

We pretty much have one of the most expensive internet services in the world. The way the companies market their internet bandwidth with "MBs" that traps most consumers to think it means 'megabytes' but is actually 'megabits' is retarded. They are limiting the speed of their consumers to sell their "premium" services (which is also shit) a lot more pricey.
The telcos and the government are in cahoots in this scam which is why the moment an oversees (I think it was Australian) company wanted to enter our market intending to sell the same speed and prices in their homeland, it was forcefully stopped.
For more example, the free wifi in Japan's subways has at least 2 megabytes per second downloading speed during their peak hours where thousands of people are in there, peaking around 10 Mbps and its fucking free. In the PH, you get a service of 50-200 kbps during peak hours, and 1 Mbps on midnight for AT LEAST 1,000 PHP a month.

The capital cities part is kinda misleading. Manila City is the capital. The other cities are not part of the capital. They are just part of Metro Manila.
