It must have been appalling for TV-am in 1992. Imagine you were told in last November by your boss that you were to be sacked, but it won't happen for a year. Would your heart and soul be in your work fully for that year?
Do you know how much Sky News was paid by TV-am for the contract to supply their news for the final ten or so months? I wonder if it was a knock down price?

@@johnking5174 I always assumed Sky did it for free. Having the Sky branding on terrestrial television back then would've been a real coup.
@@mixtapesfrommylatepartner I found out it was £500,000 deal for Sky to provide the news coverage for TV-am from Feb 1st 1992 until Dec 31st 1992.
