Amazing! When does it come to non paginated reports? :)

Such a shame that workspace should be backed by Premium/Fabric capacity. Now when Paginated Reports are no longer Premium feature but Pro, one would expect that even dynamic subscription is a Pro feature.

Is this for Power BI or report builder?

Hi Patrick. LOVE the work you guys do. Question: How do I send the same filtered report to multiple recipients? For example, I have two Regional managers for the same region. Thanks!

Hi Patrick. Is this only for a premium workspace I don't see that option for a pro workspace?

This is fantastic! Is there a way to dynamically apply a page level filter based on specific users? Example, John has Texas, Jane has Alaska. Could this subscription dynamically filter the page visuals?

He patrick!! Great job explaining the power platforms. I would like to know about getting details of a particular flow to visualize it in the Power BI Dashboard for example flow run history, if the flow has ran successfully or failed, etc.

have premium per user and premium powerbi account, BUT don't get the prompt to choose my type of subscription. What is happening here?

Hey Patrick, Its just wow! especially the Dynamic Filetype makes more sense. I am just curious to know what is the maximum number of emails that can be sent. PS : I have a subscription which sends around 1500 emails

Still a far cry from the data driven subscriptions, can’t have it in the body of the email, only as an attachment. A custom Power Automate flow is a better option.

Yep, I am missing "Send as HTML" too.

Not being able to send subscriptions to a file location is also a big disappointment. We are just in the early stages of migrating to PowerBi from SSRS and looks like we'll need quite a few flows to handle these cases.

The limit to 50 recipients is a bit of a deal breaker. My reports require about 1000 recipients. For now, Power Automate still works better for us. But I can see the potential here. This is much more intuitive to a non-technial person.

Can the scheduled time of running the report also be data driven.? User schedule appts to review a customer's acct. I'd like to send them a paginated report 10 min before the appt time.

Q: What if you only want the email to be sent IF records exist based on that parameter? This way an email won't be sent if the report is blank.

what about if I want to send the paginated report only when the dataset is update, how can I do that? Thanks

Would be great if we can share externally from a Premium per user account

Q: Is there a way to kick off these subscriptions via API? That would help make sure all my reports have the latest ETL data when the last step of the ETL calls the API.

    • @reiffaulkner7879
      @reiffaulkner7879 5 місяців тому

You can refresh your data models via API. For normal reports, they will let you schedule subscriptions based on data being refreshed, but sadly they don't give that option for paginated.

@@reiffaulkner7879 , would be a lot cooler if they did. SSRS lets me kick off subscriptions via SSIS jobs and has for a decade or so.

But how is this connected to the continent column or, you have not set anywhere the continent column to take from the security table?
