It’s called an electric blanket because it’s powered by electricity and it’s a blanket which goes under the bottom sheet and the bed. We used to nave an ordinary blanket there to smooth out the mattress.
I have the double sized dual control blanket and it doesn't come with the cords to secure the blanket in position but rather two elasticated straps which go around the mattress widthwise but nothing to secure it lengthwise. The issue I have is that it keeps sliding down the mattress meaning I have to keep stripping the mattress to re-adjust. Annoying doesn't even come close.
That's bad luck. After reading your comment, I tried my daughter's electric blanket. She didn't even unbox hers and it doesn't work! Must have been a dodgy batch.
Not so far. It’s a bit uncomfortable with the stiff fleece material but does the job. It has thin I guess wires running through the blanket so it’s a bit stiff and if you put a thing over a sheet on it, you can still feel it through and sometimes it might get too burny on ur skin in the wired places itself so I recommend a thick fitted sheet or double up with laying a regular blanket over the fitted sheet before you lie down. But it is a good product (week 1 of having it so far).
weird.. clearly you've not discovered how to use the control or you have a faulty one. it has a 3 year warranty.. so return it to where you got it from. aint difficuly

Why they call it blanket of they use it to cover the mattress?
So true!😂
It’s stiff It is more like a mattress topper.

Why can't the electric blanket be used on a sofa bed or inflatable air bed?

Smartphone? Oh come onnnn
Gives the impression there is timer control - This IS NOT the case
You have to buy the smart plug to get the timer option.
How do I wash it plug wise?
You unplug it from the blanket then put it in washing machine
It's bed sheet's not a blanket
It’s its common name - idiot
Sheets are made of poly cotton and are smOOOOOth
Does the controller get hot
