The only reason I won't take cash at my job is because I work at a hotel and it seems like every time I take cash for a check in, they end up damaging the room beyond what the security deposit will cover. So I've learned that people who want to pay cash for the room are likely up to no good and are red flags. Now, people who either have been staying there a long time or have stayed in the past without problems I'll happily take cash from, but that is a very, very short list of people.
