Fans of Geoff love to see the faces of people hearing him for the first time. It's so much fun. :) Geoff created his own backing group of himself to cover all the parts of the harmonies he creates. He sings all the parts, as he has a range of five octaves. He is also the bass singer or bass guitar sound for the a capella group VoicePlay and I'm sure you would enjoy them too.
Like their Oogy Boogie song, which has even more fun notes in it. Valhalla Calling is another fun one right now too. Geoff also has vids showing you how to get your voice lower.... I have started and have so far solidified my bass notes and am slowly lowering my range on that side. See if we cannot beat this guys total range.... as a tenor and counter tenor already MUUAHAHHA
Geoff sounds just like Jeff, from Geoffrey being another spelling of Jeffrey. And his last name Castellucci is easy: "cas-tel-loo-chee". Anyway, I really hope you see more of his videos and also of his group Voice Play. Voice Play also does theatrical, costumed songs like "Valhalla Calling" and "Hoist the Colours". I'll be watching for your reactions!
@Emeralds_ As a bass/baritone vocalist, we tend to have a wide vocal range. We're a very underappreciated group. As far as HOW we can get that deep... Bass singers usually experience strong resonance in their chest and throat. A lowered larynx can help you extend your low range. Tension, or constriction, within the vocal folds and above them can help you sing lower. And lastly, vocal range and timbre are heavily influenced by their anatomical structure. As with all vocals, A LOT is happening. Bands with low vocals... Type O Negative, Dreadful Shadows, Sisters of Mercy, Tears of Passion......
Awww you 3 are so sweet, did you know lyrics came from the Lord of the Rings, a Fantasy Trilogy that was awarded Book of Century, and song also features in the movie, song by the Dwarfs, if anyone have not seen them movies or read the books, they absolutely MUST. Even though its a European fantasy story and features no heroes from outside Europe its very worth it, cause its made in the spirit of Tolkien
Hello lonely gererous beautiful ladies hope your both are doing well and healthy today great reaction by you beautiful ladies too this video thank you for sharing your video with us love your youtube channel so much love it Timeless.❤️❤️❤️🌹👍
As you may have noticed, or maybe not, all four characters are just one single person, Geoff Castellucci himself. He does this almost always, he "clones" himself into various characters so we can see that he's singing ALL the parts and harmonising with himself. 😁. Of course, in this case he had different costumes and makeups, and the Geoff on the far left is almost a Xerox copy of the character that sings this song in the movie "The Hobbit", which is where the song comes from. 🙂 Geoff is "one and only", he's got an incredible range, and he does his own arrangements filming, editing, pretty much everything with the exception of the final audio mixing which is made by Ed Boyer. Also, oftentimes Eli Jacobson of Voiceplay does the lighting, and Layne Stein, also from Voiceplay, operates steady cam when required. 🙂 His voice is just from another world. 🙂 Welcome to one of the most beautiful rabbit holes on UA-cam! 😁
I think my lady on the left felt the harmony and meaning, not just the bass voice and harmony. There was a meaning behind the song. I think she felt it.
Compare that to this version....With Peter Holms & Tim Foust....only in this video....ps Tim hits a G1 at the end...ua-cam.com/video/PXOWH4z7ymw/v-deo.html
Thanks!
My God 😊😊

Woohhhhh😱😱😱OMG, this is amazing
And by the way, Eli Jacobson's first name is pronounced like Ellie. People often get that wrong too.
You three are so cute. I recommend “way down” for Geoff’s next reaction.
Truly enjoyed you three ladies reactions. It is always fun to see new people reaction to Geoff's towering talent.
Great reaction!, only a few guys have the range that Geoff has. (Tim from HomeFree and Avi from Pentatonix come to mind, maybe Dave from Disturbed)
Watching nice ladies experiencing Geoff quakes? Sign me up! hehe
😂❤️
This man just lot s bonfire 😂
You should react to Stan Walker singing Amazing Grace
I think my lady on the left felt the harmony and meaning, not just the bass voice and harmony. There was a meaning behind the song. I think she felt it.
Did anyone else notice the cool accidental overdub in their reaction?
You have to do 'aint no sunshine when shes gone..' same guy.
Hi Ladies have a look at a cover by Voiceplay which has Geoff in it . Seven Nation Army by Voiceplay I am certain you would enjoy the sound !
Will check that out
This is what testosterone sounds like. Thunder dripping with honey
The dominant bullfrog has croaked and acquired 3 new mates
🇮🇹👍🏻👍🏻🌹
You definitely need to react to his cover of Sound of Silence.
All of the guys in this video are geoff he does all the high and low parts himself
you need to find a way to remove the echo that you are adding but otherwise it was nice to see your reaction
Will work on that thanks
