On your next shoot add a hot light just below your beauty dish or just above your fill light directed at the face. This will cause the pupils to close up and give you much more iris like you are shooting outside. Just make sure the hot light isn't stronger than the strobe.

How did you get four FJ400’s to work on one FJ-X2m trigger? I just bought two more FJ400’s and the second pair won’t connect. Do I have to to update the firmware on all gear or just the trigger? Trying to figure this out, nothing on Westcott on any of this. Sucks.

Make sure you assign each light to a separate group. Then on the trigger, make sure you control it via groups A, B, and C. Let me know if that helps. 😁

Also, make sure the channel is all correct on the trigger and lights.

@@EliInfante I did all that. The two new ones won't even connect to my Fj-x2m. Westcott said to do a firmware update on my first two that I bought and I did the firmware update on one of them and now that one doesn't even turn on. Ugh. They're closed until Monday because of Thanksgiving. I'm hoping they stand to their product and help me fix this firmware update issue.
