We knew Angeball works against much weaker teams, Celtic in SPL is an evidence of that. Let us see the 2 games this week and make a judgement. I do not expect to win ManU and Liverpool games, too many good players unavailable, others are way too overused. Nobody's going to complain about a 5 nil win on the road but think we need a bit of perspective here - non league Tamworth will give us a harder game next month than that atrocious Southampton team did yesterday. So wouldnt read too much into yesterday's result - it doesn't mean we've suddenly become a great team. You don't beat even the bottom of the league by 5-0 in a single half with an exhausted and injured squad with four teenagers starting only because the other team is just bad. This is the team managing to turn it back up and get back to winning with Angeball like we used to win, even better than last season's big start for us.

Gives us something different, has slipped down the pecking order at Ipswich.
Had 7 goals 6 assists last season and they couldn't win without him for a month or two.
Delap and Smodzicks wouldn't come now.
I reckon Hirst, a year younger than kulu, great in the air- potentially cheap - English u20 international... get him in
am I mistaken in believing Radu and Archie have more clean sheets than Micky and Cuti?
Are you the same Mr Slater as last week?
he was pissssed last week. Ala Ange Out
Just e imagine Spenc at rightback ,Spurs can get
big bucks for Porro , Gray can play at his rightfull position center infront off the centerhalfs with either magerson and sarr ore Madderson and Bentancur, ore Bentancur and sarr with Gray , and Ange don't trust Spenc???
A good win and proud of the youngsters but it’s no good if were not consistent with results and people on here will say “negativity” but its called being a realist
Ange is not an elite manager and here’s my frustration. We have an occasional good game and everyone seems to conveniently forget the past and is getting excited as if some new change is going to happen. We need consistency. We have 36 goals for. More than Liverpool, yet they are 1st and we languish in 10th. What does that tell you? The same false optimism having beaten Man City. When we stop leaking goals then let’s talk.
Ange has his favorites, and he sticks with them even with tired legs. For instance, a fresh Djed Spence looked good in Ange's system. He's versatile, able to play left or right full backs or wing backs. It begs the question: Why doesn't Ange like him? He can help the team during this injury crisis.
You should reflect on the depleted squad. Pretty obvious why they are struggling
Glad to see Spence get his chance... for me, he is better than Udogie!
We knew Angeball works against much weaker teams, Celtic in SPL is an evidence of that. Let us see the 2 games this week and make a judgement.
I do not expect to win ManU and Liverpool games, too many good players unavailable, others are way too overused. I do want to see a tactical adjustments that will give us a fair chance against these two. I want to see smart and timely in game management.
I’ve heard you should be expecting a call for the managers job expert
Nobody's going to complain about a 5 nil win on the road but think we need a bit of perspective here - non league Tamworth will give us a harder game next month than that atrocious Southampton team did yesterday. So wouldnt read too much into yesterday's result - it doesn't mean we've suddenly become a great team. Might be a good idea for you to hold on to the "fuck offs' till after the liverpool game next weekend 😉
Real test is against United in the cup, Southampton are terrible but can’t complain about getting the win from the 1st min.
Until Next weekend comes along and all fans are calling for his head again. There is no way spurs beat united or Liverpool this week 😂😂
If that's the case ange will have 2 wins in 11 games which is unacceptable
We smashed united 3 nil away last time, you chat s hit
turn the sound up please
Levy rarely goes away unless he is going to sack a manager! And nice win but Southampton were shocking and we will get smashed by Liverpool
Coys. But still one of the worst premier league teams I have seen. Consistency is key.
Lmao this could be the worst team in PL history we beat.
It's meaningless 😂😂😂
Sure. If only every team Spurs plays are Southampton and Man City, they would win the league easily.
To the bottom of the side Southampton and they sacked their manager after yet Ange is back 😄 2 wins in 9, 4 away wins in 2024 good grief...
THE Nuno Haters are the same ones as the Ang haters, sooner they go back to Woolwich the better.
It’s been a great day for me Spurs win 5-0 and Celtic beat the enemy and make history.COYS.☘️🍀
To grow ....you need to know...belief is relief....the haters funnell...ang will tunnell ..proud and true ang will win through
CMON LADS!!!
Is it just me that saw a good first half then a second half of the Tottenham we know ?? let's calm down FFS 😂
Nothing has changed. He beat the one manager in the league that’s tactically worse than him. This is not a turning point just another false dawn for the deluded customers.
come on..its only Southampton Just wait 4 days
Spurs supporter here, but let’s not get excited. We should beat bottom of the league Southampton. If we’re a ‘big 6’ side, we aim for higher!
Liverpool (the league leaders) only scraped a 3-2 win against them.
Aim higher? We beat them 5-0 with all the goals scored in the first half?
Get behind the team
You don't beat even the bottom of the league by 5-0 in a single half with an exhausted and injured squad with four teenagers starting only because the other team is just bad. This is the team managing to turn it back up and get back to winning with Angeball like we used to win, even better than last season's big start for us.
@@rusrogers8914He means winning games regularly against better teams
No we still have an atrocious defence
Scoreboard, Chris
Yeah because of the injuries
You do realise we have our first choice 3 centre backs and our keeper out?
Next weekend Barnaby will be calling our performance pathetic as he always do after every defeat. By the way guys in the league we are 10th with 7 wins 2 draws and 7 losses don't act like trashing Southampton is something special.
So if you dont like Barnabys thoughts/comments week by week what are yours and what do you think he should be saying?
@westindiman Why would I be telling someone what should he think or say? Everyone has their own opinion. But it's ridiculous how some fans are coming after Ange outers after every single win. It's 16 games in and we already have 7 losses, why are you taking a dig into people who thinks differently about this performances after a game against worst team I've seen in 30 years of watching a football?
@@TomasHovanec-kw5pg I'm not taking a dig at people who think differently, I asked you a question. The only dig among our comments is yours on Barnaby's 'own opinion' ....maybe you need to re-read.......
COYS!
Barnaby u are so easy to listen to
Christ on a bike, Southampton were so bad the manager was lucky to get the second half
Ange cult fan boys, must be delighted when we beat bottom of the league Southampton, where the hell is the hype coming from ? wtf
Ange ball against rubbish teams works sometimes, that is all I saw today

Beating Southampton was as easy as fighting a drunk person let’s not get too excited I suspect normal service will be resumed on Thursday let’s hope not but I don’t think that Ange is a good manager and won’t take us anywhere if we keep him.
You'd know, you achieved plenty as a fan!
Barnaby on the nose candy ❄❄
Pity the team couldn't put in this performance against Rangers when it really mattered, now a game of non importance they decide to show up against a team that will be relegated before the season has finished. Spence finally getting allowed to play, so it had to take the majority of our defence breaking down for him to get game time, if i was him i would look for a new club and get away from that stubborn manager. Good result, now let's see if the team follows it up in a game that really matters against Man Utd, or will they go back to being inconsistent again.
It is probably a stay of execution for inflexible Ange. Are you finally willing to admit that Dum Sowankie is dogshit and a waste of a lot of money??? He barely touched the ball and I forgot he was on the pitch again. We need 2 quality strikers not a championship level Pratt who cost 4 times his true value.
Will Lankshear is a better striker with little to no experience lol.
Ange has his favorites, and he sticks with them even with tired legs. For instance, a fresh Djed Spence looked good in Ange's system. He's versatile, able to play left or right full backs or wing backs. It begs the question: Why doesn't Ange like him? He can help the team during this injury crisis.
Clown
This guy is hilarious. And title even more hilarious.
Can you guys wait until the next 4 games before you think Ange is a godsend? Beating Southampton was not an extraordinary feat.
There is no excuses now Spense twice has shown how good he is and they still don’t play him
Pls give these young players games not just the ones we signed
