This was my first attempt to see them and was by far the best showing (but not the best video - I had no idea what to expect and was using my phone (and helping my wife with the binoculars)).
Two later attempts (with proper video equipment) were overhead and passing by before I even noticed them.
Newer versions are said to have been darkened, so maybe none will be as bright (that's much better for the astronomers).

that's a great starter scope (ua-cam.com/video/Qt13w1U-0Gg/v-deo.htmlsi=Yt0C2KIw60WYk_GM), a good eyepiece will transfer to all your next scopes and will make observing better (ua-cam.com/video/5PbJvB-j-DQ/v-deo.htmlsi=HAahn29ouURzN0PN). A dobsonian is an inexpensive way to "see deep" and "see big" (ua-cam.com/video/MR05uzsr8vk/v-deo.htmlsi=UvDQ75V7gtoMZl5T)
