I installed an Armrest to my seat Ibiza FR using this video, went in like a charm though I got a fabric armrest as it went with the fabric seats on my one and luckily it was on eBay so didn’t have to go through a dealer though seemed to be genuine as had the same bag and all that you had

I’ve always been daunted by oem mods that require getting under the hood of the standard parts (usually going for the universal “over the top” armrests) but I’ve been able to do this in under 10mins without so much of a swear word 😂 Thanks so much!

Hey the arm rest does slide back and forth. If it's your first car I would 💯 recommended buying a little Halfords kit. Will give you a good bases to start your financial mistakes from.

Thanks! I wish I might have seen this earlier. I figured it was rather easy to install but in Portugal, I think the dealership wanted like €50, so I just paid them to do it.

@@SplodgeMotors in the intro clip when it briefly shows you cleaning your car. Looks like a foam blanket. That you spray on, let it soak up the dirt and then just rinse off. No scrubbing needed
Hi mate. Does fitting this arm rest involve any type of drilling? Just that I get my Ibiza FR Sport next week but it's on PCP, so can't cause any damage to the car fitting this. Also, what Tools are required to fit this and how much did it cost you? Thanks Splodge!
Hey, Nice what colour did you go for? No drilling required. Only tools I would say you need is a pry tool. 10mm. Very easy to do. All in all cost me just under £100. But you can see in the video how easy it is to fit

Went for a panoramic roof too and digital cockpit too which I'm looking forward to use Looks quite easy to fit, do you think it's safe even though my car is going to be on pcp? I suppose you're not creating any damage really so should be fine.

im nowhere near worcester but would love one of these armrests. where else do you reckon i could get the same one?! checked loads online and they all have shite looking chrome on it :(
Hey, there's a link in the description for a place called HSE parts however any VAG specialist will have them avalible the original place I went to no longer stock them.
I do have a sub, however got it installed by an audio shop as ease t to confident on a car this new. However I believe the panels just pop off. If you are on Facebook join the Ibiza 6F owners club.

Any seat dealer near you mate. Mine cost me £173 with vat, bit steep but changes the interior of the car completely worth every penny !

Just found out (accidentally) after a month of owning the armrest, that the top rest slides out and extends.
Thought it was a bit short.... 🤦♂️

Yeah don't see how it wouldn't be, again you don't drill any holes it's just 4 bolts.

I dont know the exact rules of your contract but it shouldn't be a issue and it's just as easy to swap back if you need to
