Silent alarm is a classic album and it 100% holds up the same way as it did back then. While the strokes is this it lit the fire to what was the "rock explosion" silent alarm was the culmination of everything that happened during that time.
as much as i love this song, i think this little arrangement is really sweet and offers some pleasures of its own. thank you for the footage 😊 greetings from australia!
Very confused why he is playing on one or two chords at a time. I know it’s a lone guitar but surely their was more that could have been done! Could have brought Russell onto the stage as well
I humbly disagree, this is a really lovely moment. The original version of Blue Light is its own thing with the whole band yes but that’s not what they’re trying to do here. Just do a nice cover together to celebrate playing London.
As he was invited on stage by Hayley, I don't think he wanted to disrespect her by doing too much. Maybe that's why he kept it simple? I think it's fine either way
Thank you for recording that.
As a long time Bloc party fan, it's truly the sweetest thing to watch 🥺💜

Two of my favourite bands from my teenage years, I would have cried if they performed this in Manchester! They should release this!
Whattttt omg wish they did this in Cardiff
I went on the 20th and they didn't do this 😢
Wow did you go to every gig on their tour Joseph? Which night was best overall in your opinion? Thanks for sharing your vids!

Really underwhelming rendition. Not sure why Kele played it like that.

Cos he can’t play the lead on it obviously
