AH-1. The original purpose designed gunship! Great interview as per usual!!
Cheers!
The enlisted route of becoming a pilot is like how the Marines trained their aviators, first they have to be a Marine and slogged it out on the ground before going to flight school.
Every Marine is a rifleman first.
Looking forward to hearing about the Apache vs the Cobra.
Part 2 is great with lots of stories.
Cobras were welcome overhead in in Nam and the description of the mini gun looking like a laser and sounds like a Bull bellowing
Awesome. From one EMS guy to another, CHEERS!
Brilliant! Can’t wait for part two 👌
Thanks, Matt.
Oh man, I was really hoping for someone with Cold War experience in West Germany. I bet that interview would be chock full of interesting stories.
Mr Flores is so awesome. His movie "Above the best" is really fascinating to watch btw.
He is indeed!
Absolutely love this!
Thanks!
Very interesting interview. Thanks.
Thanks Byron.

I tell you channel person, you're fartin' sparks!
This the copilot from jungle strike? Remember them using real pilots
I can't see past the silly hat, sadly...
You will learn soon why Daniel has the hat. Very interesting and something I was unaware of.
@@Aircrewinterview Oh, I know the reason... it just looks a tad silly on a podcast. I've got a beret from my days with the Artists Rifles but I don't wear it about the house. 🙄
@@davidwebber8636 Wearing it for this type of interview is totally appropriate. He earned it.
@@teeembeee I shall have to start wearing mine around Morrisons then... 👍
@@davidwebber8636 have you ever thought how ironic it is the artists now wear a beret ?
