You can find my new player guide to Outriders here ua-cam.com/video/sF6P5LvbBBY/v-deo.html - it contains a load of stuff I wish I'd understood better when I first started the game, plus some extra advice in the comments :)
Great review as always! I thought this was PvP, had no idea! Honestly it does sound interesting, if the storyline was better, I would totally play it! I do enjoy some skill-based stuff (the only reason why I keep playing that other old game we don't talk about), and if it's PvE it's not toxic and just more fun! 15:00 it's already really hard to find anyone who knows the current state of Cyberpunk. Can't wait for you to return to it and review how much or little has improved since launch!
Regarding Cyberpunk, the trouble is I really don't feel any inclination to revisit it. The gameplay just didn't light any fires for me, regardless of bugs and broken things.
Looks interesting, and I'm usually not a shooter guy. A bit off-topic: took your advice on the Fer-de-Lance hardpoints. Hitting a Viper with a perfectly timed railgun shot felt way better than it should. 😁
You definitely need good reactions when playing solo (not that mine are all that great!) but in co-op your team mates can always help out and pick you up.
I'm digging the review. Like I said in your Divinity stream last week it reminds me heavily of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. And your play style fits the Vanguard class perfectly. ua-cam.com/video/OIxM8OCgpKE/v-deo.html It's unfortunate that the Legendary Edition has no multiplayer. But it is rumored that they may bring it back.
I haven't really paid a lot of attention on the Legendary Edition makeover. I do recall enjoying ME1 and 2 when I played them back in the day, but the combat looks a little "stiff" for want of a better word when I watch people playing them now.
@@MarksGameReviews Yeah that guy wasn't very aggressive. Andromeda had a similar multiplayer you could try out on PC with your Game Pass subscription + EA Play. Andromeda was a totally different engine and had some launch issues. They abandoned it and said there'd be no DLC shortly after release.

Enjoy the game! Outriders has had some updates since I made this video so it should be slightly better now.

It is very satisfying when you land a devastating volley :D
It looks good sadly my lack of reaction speed would just frustrate me. Fun to watch you play
