Great review and analysis as usual ! This concert was from the Tokyo leg of their "Judgement Day" tour which was also LIVE streamed to an international audience. The video here was a rip from that stream, hence the sound was raw and there was no post-production. Yet the ladies still sounded phenomenal !

If they are touring around June for the festivals and shows in Europe it would be a good idea to put out a new song to tease a new album around the same time. I'm hoping we get something around June also.
The only thing lovebites doesn't do very well is put up music on their channel from their new albums. It seems like we get 2 songs per album and all the other songs do not get a MV or a official live MV, which would help them.
I think it would have been so cool to see more from Judgment day album released on their channel. So instead you have these videos getting posted by fans from the now infamous live stream with low quality audio. I watched the live stream last September and it was amazing just to see the band perform live, but the audio has many flaws. It sounded good in the concert but however it was transferred to the streaming service the EQ was not very good.
I have been trying to figure out how to break it down and re-EQ the different parts so we can have some better versions to represent the songs with.
After 2 months of remixing and deleting it I finally made my own version of Soldier stands solitarily but it's still not the best version.
I love the raw sound. Haruna's going to town!
It’s interesting that there’s a mic on the bass drum at HARUPI’s left foot, because in a photo of her view of the drum set that she published on Twitter, there’s no beater head on that shell, as she plays with a double pedal.

Certainly a raw mix, requiring a trained ear and/or multiple listens. It's a shame Midori is somewhat buried, considering what she is doing, both solo, and in conjunction with Miyako on that outro part you were describing. The exception to the sub-par sound is Asami's vocal, cutting loud and clear, and man did she nail it! Then there's Haruna, cruising at 155bpm with a smile on her face!
Well, boy did they fix the sound issues on the new official release! You ready for some bass and drums?😁

This is the first song from "Judgement Day" album, for a long time, there was only audio footage! There's still no official video footage! This is probably ripped from the live stream on Sep 24 (Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall in Tokyo).
This recording had no post production, because it was a live stream!

I’m not complaining as I think they really need all the support they can get, but it’s the reason why the mix quality is not the usual “blue ray” level.

Thanks for your reaction. I think it would be better for you to check out the audio version of 'We Are The Resurrection'. The audio of 'We Are The Resurrection' (Album) is much better in sound quality than this live video.
This concert took place on September 24, 2024 in Tokyo. The video of this LOVEBITES concert was NOT released on Blu-ray or DVD. This video is a pirate one, which was recorded with great distortion during a concert broadcast over the Internet (for fans). Plus UA-cam “compressed” (distorted) the information when this video was uploaded to it. The poor picture and sound quality doesn't do justice to the brilliance of this song. I don’t understand why people recommend videos (live) of poor quality? When there are great audios from the LOVEBITES Albums! But unfortunately, many members of the Wolf Pack really don’t like LOVEBITES Albums and offer only videos. These "fans" are engaged in anti-advertising of audio Albums. 🤦♂They do it persistently and with great pleasure!
Paradox: people who consider themselves "true fans" of LOVEBITES regularly offer terrible quality videos, instead of offering excellent quality audio.🙆♂

This is as close to seeing them live as you’ll ever get. This is a (pirate) copy of the livestream event. It is as you heard and saw it on the day. It goes to show just how good the band is without polish.
This song is in drop D tuning, it’s starting as thrash metal, than it goes into the usual LOVEBITES way. Midori came up with the guitar riff, it’s meant to be groovy and chunky.
This was a fan recording of the concert...The official release came just 2 weeks ago on their UA-cam Channel ... Please react to it again, as the changes are significant for both the visuals and sound quality.

I think Lovebites on this album is looking for songs that represent a challenge, a challenge. In Soldier Stand Sollitary, Asami has a bit of a hard time live, it's a very high level of treble, and here Midori suffers a bit, it's almost too complicated. Even if it's something from Trash, they should look for a somewhat cleaner and clearer sound, it seems to me, which is where they shine and stand out the most.
In addition, the video quality can be improved.
Anyway, they are the best.
