A note for those or you who operate in freezing weather like I do here in Vancouver BC . Make sure to leave your pipes and pumps exposed to the interior of your unit and never attach anything to external walls . I use heat tape on lines that are close to the external walls and two parabolic heaters aimed under the counters .

Frank that ripple and those big washers on ur 3 compartment sink u mentioned is galvanized wich is gonna be touching stainless if it was me I'd add some faying tape to separate ur metals
you're awesome dude! been working on my own food trailer almost 3 years now (as i get money or barter for goods) . I bought a hatch that also has a city pressure water hookup, decided to Tee its in tube : after pump/check valve, this way if I hookup to city pressure, I just unplug the pump, avoiding the fill tank altogether.
I had this same setup on my truck. Except you don’t have to unplug the pump. The city water keeps pressure on the outlet side of the pump and it shouldn’t kick on anyway
@@johnsandlinjr you are 100% correct, i didn't realize it at first. I immediately thought, darn I wish I put a switch on it then after testing everything realized it doesn't need it; it does exactly what you said, doesn't pump when not requesting water, put a check valve on out side of pump before the T of city pressure in. Works awesome

Hey Frank - love your videos! Question - at 14:29 of this video, you say you are adding an elbow to connect to the water heater... Do you also need to add a "T" before the water heater to take cold water to the single sink? Thanks!

Hey. How is your water flow. I helped my friend connect his water system for his food truck and he has poor water flow. I thought it was because of the water flow with the 1/2 pex.
@X_Starmedia my water flow has been good, normal water flow similar to a house, where it sometimes gets different is when you turn on hot water. Have to open valves gradually
@@fbaltierrez sup dude. Yes Framing Meaning wood. Putting wood on walls and ceiling. The base of the project. I was going to not even do this but i think it will be to hard to not do this. Cant put insulation between the walls without doing it. Did you not do this on your builds or ?
@@FamilyChannelfun32 How the CargoMate trailer came thats how it is bought it from FacebookMarketplace. These trailers have plywood walls and floors which makes it easier to build. Just added insulation to the ceiling and to the wall where the concession window is.

Another question I have is, if you were hooking up a 3 basin sink with 2 hand washing sinks and an extra equipment sink, would you use a water pump for both the cold water and hot water and just tee off to the sinks? I’m also doing this inside so I have access to a natural gas water tank.
Good morning. The water pump is to create water pressure can't have water flow without it. I would use one, because what are the chances you are going to be running all of the at the same time?

I used the same water pump and water heater as you did, I have a problem with only getting hot water when water is turned on low, water turned on full I won’t get hot water, and my water pump bib bad if water is turned on low, have you had any problems

I’ve been able to somewhat mimic what you have going on here with pex plumbing and using the crimp rings and crimp tool. I noticed a lot of leaking even after all the crimping.. ? Did you have that problem??

Frank, I'm searching your videos to find one that can help me with a water pump problem. We have no water pressure. I called the guy who installed it and he said "you probably just turned it on with it running" and proceeded to try and coach us through getting the air of the line. We could not make it happen. Good morning, to be honest I have never had one issue with the pump working or air in the lines personally. Just have to make sure the arrows are pointing in the water flow direction

How hot is the exhaust from the water heater? I’m putting mine under the dirty drain board of my three bay.
I'm worried about water lines freezing during winter. Is there something that can be done to heat water line in and the grey water drain out.

Great question. My county does not require anything as such, do they ask for a plumber license upload to their system?
Yes!they want grease interceptor and a vent pipe from the waste water tank 6"on top of the roof!I want to do the work so bad myself!

Frank my water pump is blowing air into my fresh water tank any clues, no water at faucets followed your instructions to the T
Only thing would be to check the arrows on the pump make sure they are in the correct direction

OK does the water pump need to be straight up and down or can it be flat to the floor. I notice the pump is installed kinda high up, does that matter.

Those come with the sinks, at least that's how all mine came.

If you are going to be the end user and the height doesn't bother you then it works. I don't use that height I like to stay 6 foot 5 and above

Yes galvanized at least that's what the package said. The back of the sink is attached to the wall on the corners and by the flange feet 👍

I would put it exactly where I always place mine on the videos. Has worked out perfectly for me. I just refill tanks as needed
Should have pit the filter screwed on the pump that's the way its designed could saved a few bucks on fitting and a little easier.

That is a question that only your health or City permit department can have the answer for. With us not needed
