Anthony by far, is the best video salesman that Revzilla has ever had.
Glad to see they updated these gloves. I lasted about 4000 miles with the last version thinking they would eventually break in and get comfortable. They never did. I replaced them with Icon Axys which are very comfortable.
I just bought them. As soon as i put them on it felt super soft and snug, but we will see how they do in the real world since I ride a lot.
Any further thoughts on these gloves?
My first impression was this might be an older glove, because the aesthetic looks more boring than the previous model, leaning more on function. On second thought I noticed the outward finger seams, and even though I don't like the grey stripe along the top I had to see if it might be retroreflective. The video answers everything and it does sound like a more ergonomic, better thought out glove, but I still think it is aesthetically weaker probably due to the lack of those multiple apposed acute angles of the perf leather and stretch panels. In contrast, eliminating the logos is an improvement and I'm curious to see what is done with the long cuff version.
Held or Klim in this price point for 2 season gloves.
Both are high quality, but the Held Sambias fit me a bit better. If you have really beefy hands, you might prefer the Klim gloves. -DrewZilla
