Things to note: Hyper sprinkles cause their user to only use their basic attack (with the exception of Tank) so use it more on melee characters for more effectiveness
Yeah I wondered why he wasn't using it on the cat, which has a much higher base Attack stat than the Mage does

Hey a tip go to the place we're you fight the darker lord and head into the level in the floating not the chest the other chose the route snurp hut and you can get rare snurpa and super rare snurps easily that way

i did know about it because i just read the wiki lol (i realised that this Boss Snurp thing was actually real so i went to check the wiki and i was shocked lol and then came here to see how it fights)

I find it surprising that I actually managed to kill this guy on my *very first attempt* and it was because the final hit was caused by the Cat in my party who used Sharpen Claws and followed it by Feline Frenzy that was supported by Lend A Hand with every member, killing both the Boss and the other two Snurps

Same here, I finished it off with my elf (me) attacking and also getting lend a hand from all party members.
I finished off the boss with the cat horseplay and good mood WHICH CAN STACK, too bad one of the juvenile snurp were still alive so it didn’t really feel like a finishing blow (btw this was my first attempt at this boss fight and my second attempt on all the other bosses since the light and lighter lord were hella annoying)

Yeah uh, the tower of despair is just kind of the thing that separates men from the not so manly men, there are no boys who can make it their.
When the boss snurp died I was expecting it to spring back to life and say "boss snurp has infinite rage" or something like that
By summoning every other boss even the dark sun and bringing everyone to 1 hp and disabling the horse and making them lvl 25 and all relationships brought to 45,5 and swallowing all sprinkles so it gets shield and hype and regenerating 1 million hp

Congrats on beating the Tower of Despair! I just cleared it this evening and it was really tough. I appreciate challenges and super bosses in games so I was very excited to try this one out. I enjoyed seeing the unique design of the Boss Snurp and I was overjoyed to see there was new content added from the original 3DS version! Good luck to anyone trying this, I hope it goes well for you!

@@mystic5175 bro, my highest gear was 20,000G se with weapons, and my team was Only level 45 max, it's possible, but takes SO MANY starts, I was lucky to beat it on my first try

Imagine having your face stolen. You think... Oh the hero will save me! I'm only on a snurp. Then this thing spears.
Helpful Tactics:
Learn your attack patterns. Maybe in this, the Cleric goes first, then the Pop Star, the Imp, the boss attacks 3 times, then the Chef. That way, when a teammate needs desperate healing, you can use safe spot effectively, so if the Pop Star and Imp are weak, put the pop Star in first so they can heal before the Imp Goes.
If there’s a Mii in the safe spot because you don’t want them to get hit, you can take them out when your and your teammates are attacking. That way, they can lend a hand.
Hyper Sprinkles make it so that you can only use your main attack, no healing moves or anything like that. So if you want to use hyper sprinkles, avoid roles like Cleric and Chef since they’re good support and healing roles, and go for things like Cat and Warrior, as they’re good attackers.
If you have a boss that can target you, like the Robots or for some reason, the Juvenile Snurps, save your shield sprinkles for when they target you. If there isn’t, you can use them as an alternative for hp sprinkles. You can also put a teammate in the safe spot who’s being targeted to minimize shield usages. If you run out of shield sprinkles and you’re being targeted, put the one with lower defense and health in the safe spot, and for the one with higher stats, just pray they aren’t taken out.

Yeah this is legit. It's a brand new super boss found in new lumos in the post game. The boss is located in the tower of despair. And can be only accessed if you beat the tower of dread.

I'm surprised I got through this on my first try in my first playthrough of the game.
My team consisted of a Cat, Cleric, Scientist and Mage with a friendship level of about 45 to eachother and all four had a level of 99 to the horse. The horse saved me from a lot of trouble.
Especially in the Safe Spot. The combination of the full effect from the Safe Spot and the horse snuggling, healed most of my teammates complete.
The horse and the Safe Spot are a real blessing.

Even with the Safe Spot, the Tower of Dread was a real challenge for me as most bosses could give you immobilizing or other nasty status effects.
Especially the Boss Snurp.

Just an OP tip if you have a Cat: use Hyper Sprinkles when it uses Sharpen Claws. Both abilities double the damage, so you’re basically quadrupling it instead
@@Nitram-MH While that might be good for a while after you get the Hyper sprinkles, later on *Sharpen Claws* plus *Feline Frenzy* is much more powerful.

@@omnirudy No. They just used a trick to run away to live another day. Besides when they do vanish, you don't get the EXP. So they slipped off to Ryan and survive. They will die.

Wow, tower of despair. That's one new addition I find cool about this game on the Switch.
the thing is, I don’t wanna play the whole game again, because on my 3DS save file i have EVERYTHING, riches, armor, food, and multiple 99 relationships, and thats what helped me get to the other tower, so its gonna be kinda hard to do all that just for another boss
It's a huge Graphical leap and adds all kinds of interactions for your characters, This new boss is just a new thing that was added in the game.
On the other hand, the switch port is worse in some ways as well

Back in my day we called it Tower of Dread, I also beat said tower with a warrior (player), another warrior (maxed out friendship with the player), a mage, and a cleric (max friendship with the mage). Around 5000 people saved, max gear and all level 50
The tower of dread is before this though

Oh.... So they finally made the Datamined Snurp Boss into the full version and it still keeps the allied snurps that leave you at 1 AND go thru barriers mind you (so no using barrier or the spell version!)

I've been killing these snurps bored because I beat post-game and they are the only quests I get in the hub but now I can hunt the ultimate game.

Thought Snurps were weak, guess again!
I think it would have been better to have all the friendship levels at 90 instead of 99. Since when their friendship level goes up in battle it maxes out their hp. Which could be helpful.

i recently beat this guy, so i'd thought i'd share some tips for anyone struggling!!
-in the plaza, if there are any quests with either a vampire or a cleric mii, take them with!! vampires have the bite ability, which allows the bitten mii to revive themselves (albeit with one hp left). clerics obviously have healing abilities but also a guaranteed revive ability! also these miis don't die as they're technically not considered part of your party.
-if you have a cleric in your party, put them in the safe spot and only bring them out when members die or everyone is low on health. this will save you sprinkles!! speaking of which, i'd recommend you only use the life sprinkle for said cleric. they can revive everyone except themselves.
-if you have a warrior, they are (at least from my experience) the best miis to hype up. any high damage role would be good for hyper sprinkles, as it makes their damage go up 3x.
if there's anything i missed, feel free to add on!!

I got really lucky when I fought the tower of despair and the really bad decisions of the enemies along with some god tier luck let me beat this boss first try, I will never look at snurps the same way again

Boss Snurp has 3 phases. In phase 1, it only does a normal attack that hits your adjacent teammates as well. In phase 2, it summons 2 juvenile snurps that can lock onto one of your team members and do an attack that brings them down to 1HP. Even if you take out the juvenile snurps, boss snurp can summon more of them. Then in phase 3, after summoning more juvenile snurps, boss snurp makes all your team members have a random status effect. Status effects it can inflict on you include uncontrollable laughter, crying, angry, old, stone, freeze, excited or nightmare. After a few turns pass, boss snurp will inflict status effects on your team again and again.
When I first saw the boss in rage mode, I thought of metal sonic.

Did anyone else think that this fight really was not that difficult? I just used 2 warriors, an imp and a cleric and the sweet whispers + hyper sprinkles combo made it easy for me. It really was no trouble at all.
Beat the whole tower level 45max today, just had to remember order they attack, safe spot instead of sprinkles, easy
This guy beat the Tower of Despair without the best possible gear, AND with less than 300 HP. This guy's a fricking legend
While making stupid strategy decisions like hyper on the mage too.

How you got only 1400+ saved faces? I just got to the castle of the dark lord and am at 1100
Maybe he didn't replay some levels
I'm at realm of the fay and got 820, maybe he didn't do more than one path
