One positive thing to remember is a couple of years ago we didn't have quite anything going on or it was stripped down. So some changes here and there I can deal with. They do a great job putting all of it up and providing a holiday environment for all of us to enjoy.
Loved all the pretty Christmas lights. You guys do a wonderful job of presenting your videos. Loved it when Dawn said she would send you a Christmas card, Will. lol Happy Thanksgiving!

The park has to carefully separate many things based on which state things are in, such as sales tax. Ride regulations depend on the location of the control booth for rides that are in both states. Food places must keep and sell food within each state and follow that state's laws. Employee income taxes are by the employee's state of residence. A top executive was asked about all this a few years after park opening, and he said they regretted the decision to split the park, dealing with 2 sets of everything is a huge pain.

Disappointing they didn't include a nativity scene in the parade like Dollywood and Silver Dollar City. There would be no Christmas celebration without the birth of Jesus.

Very very disappointed Carowinds Winterfest this year. I have been to every Winterfest event since it started. This is by far the saddest. A lot of missing things compared to events from the past. No natively, no petting zoo, no horse drawn carriage, no reindeer display, no music synchronized light show and the list goes on. Carowinds went cheap this year. By the way that entrance Christmas tree along with the snowflake display wasn't even working.
