    Harvey walked away from the DA’s office when he realized Cameron was corrupt, even if it was for the right reasons.

      Cameron isn't corrupt. He may be a sucker for rising in the ranks though.
      Harvey wanted more. He wanted "the chase". Like stockbrokers. The tiny surge of adrenaline that rushes when he castigates Tony Giannoupoulis or Neil Stillman.

    Cameron was a cocky character. No wonder Harvey called him his first mentor...

      Actually Cameron's Cockyness is probably a trait Harvey took on in the series.

      It's a moral debate, is it right to break the rules to defeat evil people? Some say yes, some say no. But if the Justice System lets Prosecutors who break the law get away with it, someday one of them will break the rules to convict an innocent person.

      @@VDA19 basically under Cameron lets say he tried 100 Awful people,
      using his tactics lets say 90 are Guilty and go to prison (and could have otherwise walked and seriously hurt someone else)
      10 are Innocent and are wrongfully imprisoned
      is it worth it?
      truth is until either you or someone you know is wrongfully convicted a lot of people would say it was, its a gray area none the less

      @VDA19 3 роки тому +12

      @@FalconFlyer75 Of course it's not worth it. Better for 99 criminals to walk free than 100 people to go in jail with 1 being innocent.

      That's only if he was right 100% of the time, which he wasn't. Hector was an innocent man, but Cameron buried evidence and got him convicted. Even the most benign authoritarians have flaws.

    In the end, Harvey followed his morals.
    He resigned to follow Mike right? To protect the little people. People who are innocent but have no money.
    Same with Cameron who would do anything to protect the innocent. Corrupt is when you protect the bad.
    I do not believe in "The end does not justify the means". You can rig the game if who you are protecting is innocent. Cameron was not "Corrupt". He was a DA who would do whatever it takes.

    • @rinorkoca7270

      Thing is that how does one measure or define innocent and guilty? According to the law? The same law one breaks to protect it? Intent is bound to interpretation just as much as the law is.

    • @KneeJerkReactor
      @KneeJerkReactor 2 роки тому

      @@rinorkoca7270 Perspective, Man. IMO, the rich break the law anyway. That is the truth. This way, the playing field is more equitable.
      Is your argument accurate? Of course. But arguments do not break the wheel when rich always get away with it. The law we are trying to protect is the same law Jamie Dimon and others abused to get away with having billions of USA tax Dollars for their bonuses. It is the same law ensuring the money of Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates today.
      From where I am standing, I'd rather have the unsung people get the better end of the stick than these Billionaires.
