Awesome, I believe this worked because all the bark was removed and when placed in the soil, only 1/4 inch of the bark on top went into the soil, so there were no rotting or decomposing of the bark which results in fungus growth.
Not all tree will success. Some fruit trees were sensitive and needs extra care... Mangoes have 90 percent success rate... I have tried this with many types of soil with onions or garlic and it worked,,, just cover it with plastic to prevent dehydration and keep it in low light if you live in tropical area...
Is that onion? The stick look too big for the container.What in the soil.( make up ) Why i ask, need to cut dowm my mango tree and need a plant or plants from it.
