I can't say for sure. A few songs have reworked versions like Pink in the Night and I don't Smoke as well. Maybe to refresh the song for performing, but I wasn't that big of a fan.
Some artists do this, they change their old songs so they can be close to the concept of the recent album and create a more cohesive atmosphere for the live performances :)
