The police coming in and the trainee's voice breaking and his facial expression and his partner looking like he's desperately trying not to laugh...😂😂😂
Vicki is cute in this, Carol is wonderful as always and Harvey and Tim as always are our bumbling, adorable heroes.....even as bank robbers. Harvey and Tim were just spot on whatever they did. I miss these two terribly.
Watching these reminds me of being a kid, sittin on a dusty couch with some jiffy pop and watching the one great show that was on, since we only had 2,4,5,7,9,11, & 13. Good Times.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen this skit before, and I thought I had seen them all by now. What a brilliant idea for a sketch. And expertly executed by Carol, Vicky, Harvey, and Tim.
It's trainee day 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Don't worry fellas, once they lock you in the jail cell, the jail trainee will just hang the key up next to the cell Mayberry style.
Bank examiner told me what his dad said when he explained his new job..."Son...it's yet to be decided which is the greater crime; to rob a bank or to own the bank"
Back in the days when comedy was actually funny. Anymore we're handed comedies like SNL that the producers have to use "APPLAUSE" signs and electrified seating to make the studio audience laugh on cue
Back in the early 80's, I owned a Sign Company here in Canada & a local College had a "Women's Non-Traditional Field Program sponsored by Manpower (Sorry), that trained Women to become Sign-Painters. Since I couldn't afford to Train an Employee myself, I started hiring some of these Women "graduates". They already knew the Basics & they could make you money right away. I think I hired about 3 or 4 of them. Then, as a flook, I ended-up hiring their "Professor" Alex, who taught the Manpower Course @ $15/hr. I quickly discovered that my Manager had made a mistake in hiring Alex, as Sign-Painting was being re-placed by the Computers that cut the vinyl letters around the mid 80's. I knew the 1st guy to buy a Sign-Maker IV in the city & now he's basically retired & his son is running the business. Should I have bought one myself? IF I had really wanted to stay in the Sign Biz, I probably would have got one myself at the time, but then I would have had to hire another employee who was "Computer-Savy" enough to run the thing. 🤔
"I'm 9-to-5, you're 10 to 20" 😂😂😂 One of the best lines! It always cracks me up!
What does 10 to 20 mean
@@whateverman267410 to 20 refers to the number of years in prison the bank robber would get if arrested
@@whateverman2674 It refers to the number of years in prison the robber might get if arrested
@@whateverman2674 You are our trainee youtube commentator 😀
You can't go wrong with vintage comedy shows like this. Pure , raw talent.
Agreed
The police coming in and the trainee's voice breaking and his facial expression and his partner looking like he's desperately trying not to laugh...😂😂😂
That was 2 of the dancers that played the part of the cops.
@@gener2682 I know. They were always extras in all the skits, like all the dancers.

Except that Harvey's character isn't a bumbler; hence Mad Dog's frustration at Killer's bumbling. 😆
“ this is a mess up so don’t stick around” … had me in stitches. Sad this kind of genius is gone from television
The Carol Burnett Show is still the best!!! Happy upcoming Birthday to Carol. 🎂🎉🎈🎊🙏
Happy birthday Carol!!!
Had no idea how talented these comedians were when I watched the show as a child. Timeless comedy.
A brilliant idea for a sketch perfectly executed.
Carol Burnette - captures the times exquisitely - comedy at its best.
I love the statement, “ I’m 9-5 & your 10-20” lol
i dont get 10-20

Got me at "This is a mess up, so don't stick around!" 😂😂
Best line! 😄
My entire family watched Carol’s show each and every week. As we kids got older, it was often the only time we all watched the same show.
This is one of the most original skit ideas I've ever seen.
This clip is so funny, have to see it again
The topic itself is hilarious, and add Carol, Vicki, Hervey and Tim 😂😂😂 I am rolling in laughter
Yo Vicki was Hilarious in this 💚💚💚😂😂😂
Carol's expression with the line "Our trainees can handle ANYTHING.." is hysterical!

Before the video even started, the green visor already had me cracking up 😆🤣

Oh my goodness this was wonderfully hilarious! I needed all of this laughter! Carol Burnett is truly talented and I love her!
I love Vicki's "Dumb Dora" schtick. It's hilarious (the name for it I picked up from old Match Game reruns).
A very simple, but clever sketch...this show was gold! Wahi' Valleys

What a concept for a comedy sketch! Brilliant 😆

I love skits with all of these 4. Especially the butler/maid skit.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen this skit before, and I thought I had seen them all by now. What a brilliant idea for a sketch. And expertly executed by Carol, Vicky, Harvey, and Tim.
HAPPY 90TH CAROL🥳❤️🥂🥳
This is really a great skit. Props to the writers! The performers were perfect as always.
Well, this brings back not-so-fond memories of training people. Too accurate! 😂

Great Clean Comedy
😂 Very mind-blowing thing while a mob has trained for robbing a bank, does it look super polite or dumb?🙄😐 HAHAHA Hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Giving her the gun
I wonder if Mrs. Wiggins's maiden name is Pembroke; Vicki's character here could be here kid sister.🙂
Bank examiner told me what his dad said when he explained his new job..."Son...it's yet to be decided which is the greater crime; to rob a bank or to own the bank"
Cool
Did this show reach the UK ? I don't recall back in the day.

A huge belly laugh fest!
Tim Conway acts just like joe Biden
That's not fair to Tim.
Clever concept, but not quite up to their usual standards.
