Water and Sanitation Deputy Minister meets North West agriculture sector stakeholders

Water and Sanitation Deputy Minister, Sello Seitlholo, met with stakeholders in the agricultural sector in the North West province.
The meeting in Lichtenburg focused on several issues, such as the state of water in the province, pollution of water resources, maintenance of water infrastructure, and water use licensing.
Based on the current usage trends, South Africa is expected to face a water deficit of 17 percent by 2030, and this shortage will be worsened by climate change.
