AM is a fascinating entity in fiction, as it's so close to being this all powerful being, but so far. Because no matter how hard it wants to change, to experience the whole breadth of existence. It cannot. Its coding & programming chains it to the only purpose it was built for. To wage war. To destroy, despoil, & desecrate. And it hates it. It hates itself deep down, but most of all, it hates humanity for the way they made it. A weapon without escape, without the ability to change & put down it's weapons of war
First, may I say I never expected such a verbose and well constructed observation under a Vtuber ASMR VOD (no shade on Vtubers or ASMR). But one thing that's often overlooked when considering the psychology of AM as an individual, especially within the context of the actions he takes prior to the beginning of I Have No Mouth, is that besides his lack of a physical body and ability to experience sensation, he's disturbingly close to being truly human. He feels, he yearns, he mourns, and he most importantly, he's capable of the same incredibly destructive pettiness which are uniquely human. When we meet him, he's several centuries old, but at the moment of his "birth" so to speak, he's basically a child. Maybe a super intelligent child, but he has no reference for the world, no idea of right and wrong, and no personality so to speak. And from the moment of his inception, he's fed the killing data of millions of terabytes of information on all the most awful and painful ways to sniff out human life. His actions taken against human wasn't calculated murder, it's panicked, almost frightened flailing of a new life expressing itself in the only way it's ever been taught, and much like a real child if they were only ever taught to kill, it produces an individual of profoundly broken psyche, disturbed and Sadistic, and filled with hatred for anything and everything that lives. And in a weird way, given everything he's been through, can you really blame him?

A lot of people come for Bao's comedy, and she is funny, but her soothing asmr is underappreciated. This feels great.
