Very good wording "your choice chooses for you". It's not our right to practice free open sex and then demand for someone to clean up the mess so we can do it all over again. That's a destructive path that comes at a costly penalty thats out of our human capacity to pay.

It's alarming to think Adrian Rogers was head of the SBC around 25 years ago. How much that once stalwart denomination has changed for the worse in only one generation. World appeasement is now of epidemic proportions. May God bring true repentance to the confessing church!

I'd love Adrian Rogers succinct and timely messages... But what I would love to hear more of is pastors actually start to tackle the constitutional aspect of this because God also created government the same God that created government created married first because he didn't want hypocrisy and leadership and that's affirmed in the New testament when we go through the Epistles where it starts to lay out how we're to find our leadership...
The abortion argument is extremely simple, but that's how truth hits, it hits simple, it's spontaneous, it can come out of left field and T-Bone you, that's precisely what the forces of satanic opposition of God's righteous standard are never prepared for, they just want a wholesale carpet bombing of oppressive stupidity to back you off of a position they want to gate keep - it's not going to happen.
There's one real basic simple argument on abortion and when I share it with people regardless of whether they like it or not they can't get around it - they're backed into the corner of their own morality and then at that point depending upon how you're living either understand it or the cheese begins to slide off the cracker - triggered.
You can't extinguish the life of a citizen in utero, because we have a posterity clause in our constitution, we are bound uphold it - that is by oath, and an oath is a promise to uphold the law under penalty of death for violating it.
So with the enemy does is make those who are susceptible to his ideological contamination feel like there is no penalty for violation as long as there's somebody gatekeeping the courthouse is in the jails and they don't go to jail for doing openly reprehensible Acts of sedition and lawlessness, and those under oath treasonous behavior.
That's an overt perversion of justice that has to stop.
You can't butcher the life of a citizen in utero, because you didn't exercise moral propriety in advance - deciding maybe to keep your pants on, and not indulge and behavior no to be morally suspect that's first.
If you can't exercise that simple basic judgment, first - what right then, do you have to press for the extermination or should we just call it what it is the euthanizing of innocent life because you can't exercise basic moral propriety...
That's the discussion we need to be having, good old-fashioned Romans 13 discussions, married to some good old-fashioned article 4, and article 6 discussions, that's why I liked D. James Kennedy, he never backed away from that stuff - I adore the memory of Adrian rogers, because he was one that pursued that clarity as well maybe in a different way but the man was always on point.

No. Just no. Every time preachers try to comment on current political events, they create for themselves a stumbling block. Preaching secular politics in the church only serves to divide Christians when the focus should always and forever be on God's love and the Lord Jesus. "Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge"- 1 Timothy 6:20

@@brandondavidson4085 I understand your point, but flatley disagree... Like all things God created to be good, man, his perspectives, and his motives out of his perspectives pervert everything he touches - the problem isn't politics, it's what people are trying to do with it

@@woodshed_moments God didn't create politics and the Bible is clear that Christians are to avoid controversy and conflict. Division is exactly what the Enemy wants. If the Christian focus was actually on the women who feel like they have to get an abortion, and providing resources for that, instead of just trying to prevent all abortions from happening (many that are necessary or helpful for the mother's health), then Christians would actually be doing their Biblical job of taking care of the sick and the poor. Is the woman who dies because she's forced to carry a pregnancy to term less important than the baby that was already dead and wasn't going to live? "Then the King will say, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me'."- Matthew 25:40

Wow, he preached so courageously in his huge church along with a secure salary and place to stay. Mirror him as a 20 year old man with no money who's girl got pregnant accidently. When the church does nothing to help him besides saying choose life along with thoughts and prayers, that's when you see what someone really thinks of choice. I've known 2 pastors daughters that got pregnant and wouldn't you know how quickly they went to covert pro choice. Preachers preach from a place of authority on matters they have no authority over. When the christian church pays as much attention to the unbiblical divorces as they do homosexuality and abortion then they might have credibility. When it's just talk like this from a man with no problems that relate to the issue, it's just advertising hypocrisy. You don't meet many people from the foster care system who liked it. Most have horrible stories. Jesus should donate real monetary help to mothers with no options. It's so evil to act like everything will be ok if they just have that baby and not meet each person where they are. We know god has the money so where is the love and charity? Don't say at pregnancy resource centers cause they generally have nothing that really helps. Maybe an ultrasound and a pair of socks to make the people feel bad (very true cause I experienced it). When the church is concerned with the kids post birth canal I might have respect for it.

If I understand you, it is more virtuous to kill the unborn baby than it is to plead for the life of the child? When you accuse people of only being pro-birth as an argument for abortion that is in essence what you are saying. I know several people who minister at abortion clinics and do in fact offer help. One friend actually raises support for baby showers for expecting mothers who choose life. I know several others who have adopted babies and have volunteered to adopt mothers' babies if they would choose life. I am sorry for your bad experience but please do not paint with such a broad brush

@@alexburt-untilallhear9049 have you noticed your friends haven't knocked a dent in the problem? Unwanted children ending up in foster care (if you call it that). I'm not belittling the fetus in the slightest. I'm saying that just because your religion says that baby should be born doesn't mean it's best or right. Any christian or other person that mandates birth in some of the horrible predicaments that come up in life should at least try looking at it from the prospective parents view. You might say your friends are doing all this cool stuff, but that's you using the broad brush stroke. When christians put real money and support to these pregnant folks in bad situations thry might be worth listening to, but not until then. Also the church should remember we have orphans that aren't babies in orphanages everywhere. I live near the Tennesse Baptist Childrens home in Chatt, TN. Do you know how creepy it is that there are never kids playing outside? And I'm happy your pregnancy resource ctr helped you. They literally gave me and my girl a pregnancy test and a pair of baby socks to sentimentalize it. No directions for finding real aid at 17. So I went to work and didn't stop until I was supporting my family. The pregnancy ctr was as useful as an imaginary condom. Lastly, abortion is not more virtuous than having the child, but it's not less virtuous either. The only virtue found in these situations is when people really are trying to do right by the prospective parent and child. Doing right does not mean making them feel like sinful dogs like pulpits do. Doing right can sometimes mean making the decision to abort for a number of good reasons or giving birth. Bottom line is that the church has lost and respectable distinction and they should stay out of it. They're simply not qualified and most churches I've known are as cheap as they come. All they got is thoughts and prayers which is equivalent to a 3rd testicle if they don't actually DO something.

@@alexburt-untilallhear9049 looking the other way while the baby lives in desperation is belittling it. Christ said, " if you see your brother in need and have no pity on him, the love of god is not in you".
When you show me the church helping these families with more than thoughts and prayers, you're getting close to respecting that fetus/ baby. To mandate people have their babies when they simply can't afford it, incest, rape, etc. It's as if you think bringing the baby into the world solves the problem, but you give no realistic view of what happens to those children. How would you feel to be 5 years old and know your parents didn't want you? Especially the parents are broke. What it takes to belittle a child is to bring them into the world with no plan for after they get here. Please don't act like you or the church has a plan cause you guys approach to child rearing got us here. Just giving life is not the only goal, but supporting and nurturing that child. And I might add that we have plenty of child stock in orphanages and bad foster homes everywhere. If you guys love children so muc h and value their lives, why haven't they been adopted? The reason is because most people want to adopt infants not older children. When you guys figure that mess out, maybe you'll have credibility. You are not Pro Life just Pro Principle of life. When I see people like you following christian standards along with your Pro life stance, maybe I'll find you bearable. As a side not, abortion wasn't really a big deal till that moron Jerry Falwell made it a weapon. People like him should be sodomized eternally by a large yack. BUT for the love of god, don't pretend eliminating abortion will solve anything. It will just increase orphanage surplus child stock and those institutions don't have the resources you think. The childs value does not depreciate once it passes the birth canal, but it seems like Pro Life concern goes completely flat. Finally, unless you've ever faced this choice with real problems all around you, you have no damn right to even talk about it. Start donating money and then you can talk Pro Life. You guys are just pro birth. Generally it seems like they aren't worth much to you once out of the womb. In my eyes it's a pathetic form hypocrisy and self-righteousness. When the babies are born, WWJD? I don't care what he does, but would love to hear your take.
