Some sort of wild thistle. Should have Purple flowers as it matures. This means your native wild birds visited and pooped seeds in your garden. If that is a true Bunching onion its Massive. You have enough dried Marigold flower ( seed pods ) to supply half of your state with! Crazy! BTW we have 2 Candy roaster squash so far chugging along! I might be able to have something cool to eat this winter!
@@TheWickerShireProject yeah I get thistles everywhere!...punk birds!..lol Yep if you go back to my aerogarden sprout bunching onion experiment...its them!..you can see the sponge on the bottom of this one! My garden is just starting! I love amaranth too. Thanks for the copper tape, Idea, I've never heard of it. I plan to send you some dwarf tamarillos, and I thought about sending you cape gooseberries since you love groundcherries, but you would have to start them in February to get a harvest, I had to do that in zone 5. I have the GMO tomato, I don't know how you feel about it. It has a snapdragon flower gene that makes the tomato completely purple. I don't want to send it to you and offend you or anything, I know some people have strong feelings against it.
I would try gooseberry..is it a plant where you start from seed inside early?...I do that with peppers My feeling on the GMO tomato is I will pass on it....reason being is while this one might be harmless I don't like a company owning the rights to my plants..plus the goal of these companies is to lock you in..their seeds need their soil and fertilizer to grow etc..its a slippery slope..plus I think what new allergens are they creating?..what if I'm allergic to snapdragons and it due to the color Gene's or whatever?..I definitely wouldn't have been offended had I got some seeds I just probably wouldnt plant until I knew they got a open patent etc.
@@mikeschaoticgardening Great! I understand about the tomato. The cape gooseberries grow just like peppers. They are sort of like groundcherries and tomatillos mixed. They are a larger plant than groundcherries and the fruits are larger and don't drop off the same. I think they have a more citrus like flavor to them compared to ground cherries too. They are yum😋
Nice. I hope one day to have a garden, but pests are difficult to control. My potato plants were ruined this year. I am also very novice, so I probably actually ruined them... LOLOL
I think I’m gonna give up on Squash and Zucchini until I can figure out how to save them from the bugs because they have been destroying mine every year I might get two or three if that 🤦🏾♀️😅
