Essa canção é muito lindinha. A melodia me lembra as vinhetas dos programas femininos da televisão brasileira que passavam durante a tarde nos anos 1990. haha
I liked it then and I like it now...... Now it's soon Eurovision again...... another year without Luxembourg..... 25 years have gone. Not an aniversary to celebrate. It's rather sad..... Love you and miss you Luxembourg.
I also don't understand their reasoning for not coming back "No one would vote for us, we wouldn't qualify, we're just too small." You do know who you are, right?! Luxembourg, who won FIVE TIMES which is a lot for such a small country. Not to mention a "returnee" always gets a good result, especially if they had a good reputation before, just look at Italy who finished 2nd immediately after they returned!
Edit:@lucrasquin6259 your'e pretty much a hypocrite because your second comment is pretty much xenophobic to Germans. As a German i really feel attacked and i hope you won't do this ever again and please keep your ultra-nationalist bullshit to yourself and not to the comment section of a plain innocent song.Bye
Luxemburgish is a German dialect. But now a language of its own,. because it is written and the official language of Luxembourg. Luxemburgish is actually a Moselle Franconian dialect in Germany, which is spoken in the South-West of Germany.
A beautiful and sadly overlooked song. Puts me in a good mood every time I hear it.
her vocals are on point!!!
29 years ago. fantastic song. very sweet and beautiful girl.
A song with a great potential and awesome melody. A shame that Marion almost got 0 points.
One of few entries to be in Luxembourgish
great song I like a lot.
Top5 song even a winning one..
I'm surprised Terry didn't say she was wearing the test card🤣
She had an acute attack of malaria during her performance. A true professional.
Yeah, and her clunge imploded.
MALARIA!? oof thank god she tackled the situation professionally on stage

Hopefully they return in 21. Especially as it would be 60 years since their first win
I've been watching old contests from the beginning, just finished 1992. I agree, I often like Luxembourg's entries. Hope they return one day :)

@@icecranberry2148 EXACTLY!
@@icecranberry2148 Well, you gotta look at Monaco, another returnee who failed to qualify three times in 2004-2006 before losing interest again.
Sou fräi - Luxemburgish (a German dialect - now a language of its own) - in German: So frei.

My favourite Luxembourgish entry, and sung in their "local" language! Kinda looks like Catherine O'Hara in Home Alone 😉
If at that time the Barbara Dex Award existed, she would've definitely won...
only one year ahad of Barbara
Don't think so. That was actually the way people dressed in the early 90's
Just like Marion, Barbara also a really great overlooked song
So this is what Luxembourgish sounds like. Sounds like a mix of German and Dutch.

And a hint of French.
For me as Berliner it's hard to understand
I can't make head or tail of it and I speak both German and French fluently.
@@stevebbuk That’s because there are quite a lot of words that are neither german nor french, but words of their own in the luxemburgish language^^
The barbara dex award should change name to Marion Welter award cause...THAT'S THE UGLIEST DRESS I'VE SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
not one of their best entries!
