    So much respect for Pete Thorn playing all of these different songs note for note and giving respect to the original versions of the songs. He played the solo PERFECTLY.

    Why does he put himself through that? I saw Kix at Hammerjacks 1989. The opening act was "I thought" some unknown local cats. Kix, even being as loved as they were at that time, seriously had they're work cut out for them because it happened to be Skid Row and they turned that place on it's ass!!! Mindblowing!!! Tight, polished, just so professional. Not often do you see a unknown band with unknown songs and be that memorable. It was surreal hearing those classic hits for the first time live. Bach was as good as it gets in every sense of the word! A week later, MTV introduced a brand new band from Jersey and they're first single "Youth Gone Wild"! And the rest is history. I just pictured Kix being like.....Wdf??? Kix and Skid Row at Hammerjacks 1989!!! What an event to witness. Today....2017 The mighty KIX can STILL deliver they're music as they did 35+ yrs. ago!!!

    I have to agree that there were large sections of this song that Bach, didn't just walk through, he lounged through them. He has an awesome voice, STILL has an awesome voice. He doesn't need to do stuff in a weedy thin voice. He's a big bloke with lots of power. It would've been good if he'd seemed committed. He certainly was in "Hot For Teacher" and yet he couldn't for his own hit.

      Absolutely agree hes a natural born tenor and still very capable of hitting the signature notes in his own songs.

      kombi k Agreed. It sounds like he still has the potential to sound great, but he doesn't seem very committed. In some parts, his voice sounds very thin, and in other parts, it suddenly gets very loud and shrill. He's only 47, which is much younger than most singers who have been around since the late-80s. Nobody expects him to sound exactly as he did when he was 20, but he needs to take care of his voice and have a healthier lifestyle if he wants to be able to keep singing his songs. Pete Thorn's guitar solo is very impressive, though. Sounds note for note.

    At the end: "I dig Journey. Chicks love Journey!" So now we know what we've always suspected about Bach. He's a girl.

    Am I the only one who finds Sebastian Bach difficult to take seriously? His comments though half spoken in jest suggest low self esteem and self loathing. I wish he'd lay off the clown act and alcohol and concentrate on getting his head in a good place psychologically. He has the voice. There's no question about that, but when the guys in the band cringe on his every comment, it appears even they feel something's off. All these musicians are great as is Bach, It's kind of sad. No insult intended

    he can't hit the high notes anymore.. or he's just not trying.. but yea, he still has the best voice that came out of hair metal.. the only one I can listen to now.

    Not sure if you heard me correct, I said he sucks now...
    At one time he was the best, but like I stated, He SUCKS now.
    If you use the things on the side of your head called ears, you will notice he really does suck now.

  • @SuperHotrod4
    @SuperHotrod4 11 років тому

    What does taste in music have to do with Sebastian Bach sucking.
    In the day, Bach was the best, now he sucks!!! I'm not gonna say it's good just cause it's Bach. I know you agree with me because you tried to justify his voice with his age. He sings like CC Deville now. His party is over dude. Use your ears, it's ok, he sucks now, but WAS the best.

    Yup, smoked and drank his voice away years ago. He was never the best ...lol
