OZ THAMIZHACHI VLOG deserves a special congratulations for bringing out this edition, specially highlighting the traditions we Malayalees follow for Onam, ........our beautiful customs, our rich folk lore celebrated in dance and song, the 10days leading up to Onam, when gathering flowers for the flower carpet was something each Malayali child waited eagerly the whole year for , ....the puja performed in honour of Thrikkakara Appan, ....each aspect of that puja brought back many happy memories for me, of a time when whole generations of joint families gathered together to observe this ritual with great sanctity and devotion.
All our traditions are so beautiful.
They should never die.
My heartfelt thanks to OZ THAMIZHACHI VLOG for keeping our culture alive through this video.
The dance performed by the ladies was so lovely.
Even more wonderful, were the women ,busy preparing the food for the Onam sadhya.
Finally, when all sat down on the floor , and food was served on fresh "vazha elas", to old and young, it was a delight to observe the look of absolute contentment on each of their faces as they ate each tasty dish with such relish.
OZ THAMIZHACHI gets better with each video!
