America:
Yesterday it seemed the world was about to end
Didn't it?
Looked as though it wouldn't last out the year
Yesterday disaster waited around the bend-
Well, my friend
Spring is here
Back in business
And ain't it grand?
Let the good times roll!
Yesterday things were outta hand
Now they're under control, mmm
Bye bye, blues
So long, adversity
Happiness, hello! (Hello, hello)
Keep the status quo
Permanently so
the blooper is so funny i cant belive shes that brave to just let her skirt down
its weird seeing john so young
e wurth that's funny. I had Aneesh seen him younger and just recently saw him with silver hair as wonder woman. Was shocked 😮
Bronson is so full of energy, Carol is hilarious, John is fantastic, Ruthie is gorgeous, and George is awesome :)
I can hardly hear George Hearn in this song =(
george hern bless him...just that semi tone behind on the moves xxx
you should put the blooper of this song online. so funny.
this is an amazing song carol burnett is funny and love john barrowman
"Putting It Together" is a musical revue... there is no dialogue. There are more songs than included here, including several transition songs.
There is a vague storyline told by the songs about an older and younger couple, but all of the songs originally appeared in other Sondheim shows.
Was the incident with the chair supposed to happen?
It looks like maybe it wasn't and she just rolled with it and made it a bit? At least, if that's the case it explains why they went with this kind of frantic and not very pleasant sounding take with a number of errors.
Gilles Tompkins I think it was meant to be a joke but it just doesn’t come across well. Throughout the number Carrol keeps getting stuck in the curtain deliberately and the joke is that she just gives up and sits down. Its not really that funny...
Yes of course it was. How can you not see that's a set up gag?
didnt even recognize pinchot. Times been amazing to him since Perfect Strangers and LAngoliers
For anyone who has the DVD, is it just of the music, or does it include all the dialogue and stuff?
Mmm...I love this song...And Bronson Pinchot-the BEST!
Thanks for uploading. I love this number.
0:20 The spotlight is off-target on the way left. How embarassing.
You can tell its not a person running the spot and is actually a preprogrammed pattern, technically, it's Pinchot who's off not the tech.
This sounds awful, compared to the maddona versions or other verisons i ve heard
jeez, this is awful. they butchered it.
