    Although Thriller is Michael Jackson's best selling album, personally, I think HIStory is his best and most personal album. You learn A LOT about the real Michael on that album. "They Don't Care About Us", "Stranger In Moscow", "This Time Around", "Earth Song", "Money" and "Childhood" give you a real in depth look at who he really was. Too many people sleep on that album.

    Great talk about Biggie, but had to stop listening after ignorance stepped through the door. If you still believe he bleached his skinz after his autopsy report proved he had vitiligo. I don't even know what to say. Btw, the plastic surgery rumors are over the top. His autopsy also mentions he had lupus, which, as a doctor once explained, can be disfiguring. Most of MJ's plastic surgery was done on his nose. It was likely an attempt to make his nose look "normal" again, as the lupus and its side effects hit him so hard, according to one doctor who'd studied MJ's medical history for the 05 trial.

    The thing with Michael is he got so big bigger than any other performer had ever or will ever he and because of that it hurt is life. Like he couldn’t be in a movie because the whole thing would be about Michael Jackson even those he was a great actor and will have had a great career in it if he had the change. At one point he couldn’t be on songs with other people except his sister and they only did one. He couldn’t even sit in an award show audience because once again it would be all about Michael. He couldn’t walk outside. Like see how Beyoncé can still go places even though she’s Beyoncé. Like when she went to a Janet concert recently there’s no way Michael would have been able to do that something as simple as that. He was undoubtedly the greatest ever and at the same time he paid a price to be the greatest ever. But that was his goal. It didn’t just happen on accident. It was Michael’s goal starting in the mid to late 1970s to be the biggest and greatest ever and he achieved that. But boy did he give up so much for that goal

Quincy didnt want michael to do songs like wanna be starin somethin, billie jean, beat it. He try to take all this songs off the album, songs that michael wrote and composed. When they were on the bad album that michael wrote, composed almost everything that was there, quincy didnt like the results because it was too pop, smooth criminal for exemple, he didnt wanted the song to come in. It was not Quincy who sugest for them to go on different ways, it was michael's decision and quincy got mad because of that, for YEARS. Thats why he keeps telling all those lies about michael, like he didnt have vitiligo (even though his autopsy confirmed) or that he stole music from others. For revange. Haters like to say that if wanst for quincy michael wouldnt be a hit. Well, if thats the case, please tell me 3

      Yasmin -
      Quincy couldn't be too upset with "Beat It", because it was Quincy who enlisted the guitar skills of Eddie Van Halen. The band members were not too please with "their sound" being loaned out to another artist, but Quincy's "it" got Eddie into the studio to lay down the now iconic solo. A studio musician played the main guitar we hear on the song. It was Quincy's "it" which was able to get legendary organist, Jimmy Smith, to play the organ solo on the song, "Bad".
      The only thing Quincy did not like was whenever Michael did a song outside of Quincy, Quincy could not get points. Points is what's used to extract a percentage of revenue made off of a song or album, to include if a song is re-recorded by another artist or used in a commercial or movie.

      @@thespadestable is true quincy wanted a rock song the record, but when the album was ready the label try to take the song of. Michael had to fight for the song. He wanted michael to sing ballads, he was not feeling the pop tracks. Michael jackson became michael jackson because of his dance moves and his videos, if it wasnt for that, for more amazing that thriller is, he wouldnt became that big if wasnt for that. And that is michael's credit.

    he just didn't talk like that on his records, maybe because his image of clean songs was already established, or maybe he himself was not comfortable putting that out in public but was fine with others saying exactly what he thought
    i'm similar in that way, i don't mind when other people cuss but feel uncomfortable cussing myself

  • @LaCheleWallace
    @LaCheleWallace 5 років тому +2

    I have to be honest, I wasn't head over heels for Michael Jackson's _This Time Around_ feat. Biggie. It was just ok to me. _Earth Song_ was my favorite. One of Mr. Jackson's associates interviewed and stated that he was never completely satisfied w/ his success level after _Thriller._ He wasn't satisfied w/ the numbers that _Bad_ and _Dangerous_ generated. The average artist would kill to move those types of units. Mr. Jackson wasn't the average artist though. After 1995, the climate and culture changed. He was on such a high pedestal that nobody could touch him. Folks wanted more relatable artists. Prince and Mr. Jackson were too unicorn and _you cannot look at me._ Thank goodness for Bobby Brown and them. They were more down-to-Earth.

    • @mariahyohannes
      @mariahyohannes 2 роки тому

      Bobby might have been down to earth but the point of being in the music industry is to be talented, make quality music and be consistent. Bobby's down to earth nature was because all of his business out in the open when instead his music should have been in the forefront

    Michael Jackson(a black man) was a god! A human god. He was the most popular living person in the 80's. No human ever had such power on a global scale, No artist, not even The Beatles or Elvis presley or Bob Marley had such great power over men like MJ. People fainted in germany when he visited, in the middle east, in far asia, in Africa, All over europe any country he visited you had people passing out from sheer excitement. So it was "ideal" to transition him to or look like a white lady. That way, a black man turned white can be that human god. Our Lord, as you all know was done the same way, a tanned skin Jewish middle eastern man potrayed to us as a caucasian.
