That’s exactly how I found him last week! I’ve been watching hours of him now. He’s unreal
Started following their podcast a few months ago. I listen to two each week. The recent ep, and one of the older eps, in chronological order. Matt & Shane are funny dudes, and they have a lot of quality content. It’s great to see Shane recover from the situation with SNL, as it could’ve ended his career. Luckily, he’s not what he was accused of, and if you do a minimal amount of digging, you see that it’s the exact opposite. It gives the fans an additional reason to route for him to succeed, and get the recognition for the work these guys put into their content.
@@cleech74 it was a stroke of luck being fired. People don’t watch network tv anymore and the only movies that make money are marvel. It would’ve been a total dead end in his career if he got sucked into that world. Being on a show nobody watches with a pipeline into movies nobody rents or goes to. Their 1970s business model doesn’t work anymore. It’s a waste of time.

There is way, WAY more in common between this sketch and the Kenan one that there are with the Uncles daycare with the Park for Boyfriends sketch. WAY more.
But comedians adapt and are influenced by a ton of other comedians and writers. Just wanted to point out that the rabid anti-SNL Shane fans are being a bit hypocritical if they don't say the same about this sketch being taken from the SNL writers.
