  • This was a downwind prone hydrofoil mission. You fall, you paddle back to the reefs to catch a little wave to 'chip in', get back to your feet and pump back out to the wind line. This stretch of coast on Kauai really isn't that good for this. We don't get the proper swell and wind angle to really carry us like a true downwinder would. This is about 70% pumping and a few groundswell glides. Also the coast bends inward, the longer you're up, the further out to see you go. But still, it's pretty fun and a great challenge.
    I'm riding www.signaturefoils.com Albatross 165 and a www.freedomfoilboards.com 4'1 Rubix.

Hey mate, how isit going? Just recently discovered Foil the World on instagram, love the content there!
love to spent time watching foil pumping there, as i live on a city that have a good river / flat water to do it in brazil.
The truth is, brazil have almost nothing relationed to Hydrofoil. In fact all of water sports here are poor and have low/zero information/stores , and importing a hydrofoil it will probably cost my car.
So im trying gattering some information on hydrofoiling pumping stuff and try a DIY foil.
I saw lots of videos from pumping/review but one of yours call my atention - the review on signature 210, with the worlds "you can flatwater pump in to the horizont.", so now im aiming for DIY and prototype based on the 210.
Saw some videos of yours using the 210 as well, like " Downwind Foil Run, fall out at sea!!" and Turtle Cave, but I will apreciate if you make a more indepth video about 'how to' foil pumping on flatwater / getting start, some tips on equipment efficiency (like the cut on the rear wing), it will be lot of great information that i cant get anywhere around here.
Some information that we can talk/compare now would be our Weight. Im about 70kg and, as im DIY foil, maybe a custom lengh for the frontwing would be considered.
well, thats alot to learn / gattering and try by my self and see how it goes, but atm this is what im thinking of.
Anyways, love the content bro, hope you keep doing it for long time!
    Have a nice one!
