If it matters, I used to have a similar job years ago as a side-gig. It involved taking old sample containers from the pathology section of the lab I worked at, taking them down to the morgue, then draining the preservative into a 50-gallon drum while throwing the containers and the remaining viscera into a biohazard container. I wasn't wearing a full moon-suit for it, but it was close enough with a full gown, gloves, and a respirator. Having done that for a LONG time, the issue wasn't so much that doing it makes you angry or frustrated or jaded, it's that after long enough it makes you NUMB to what you're actually doing. Like, you stop thinking about how each and every container you're draining is someone's liver, or lung, or god knows what else; you're just bored to be doing the work, but the overtime makes it worth it, and nobody's up your ass about how you get it done, because none of them wanted the gig when it was offered. If there was anything that bothered me about essentially doing this kind of job, it's that you start noticing that human flesh smells remarkably like beef or pork, depending on how much fat is in it. That's when you start asking questions of yourself and looking for the next job.
@@SATELLITEDOWN7735 If this game is any indication of the field, I'd say they DO do this on a somewhat regular basis; maybe not the on-staff janitor, but certainly the specialists who get called in on the jobs where things have gone tits up. Like in my example, it's not a lot of people that are needed for these jobs, but those jobs DO exist.
question, i noticed the map briefing and the description of the level are completely broken, when did you record this? did you record it before sept. 25th or after, because i released a patch on the 25th addressing these issues, and i coulda sworn i fixed it, because it is appearing in my start work list correctly, and the map briefing displays correctly.. i'm just curious if it's still broken, and i didn't actually fix anything lol, thanks in advance
