    another trick is to take to shades of the "felt squares" (green for example) . put them on top of each other, then using your brush pad and poke as it comes through you get the effect of grass poking up!

    This! Is! Wonderful!!! First of all, your video is very well done. Easy to watch and listen to. The focus is on the work, not music or anything else. Second, this is a wonderful piece! Your step by step walk through and explanation of what you are doing along with a clear view of your actions make this a very easy to follow tutorial. This video inspired me to do my first ever needle felted piece, a vegetable garden for my dollhouse. I had never done anything before but when I saw this video I went straight to my craft store and within 2 hours had my first piece and a LOVE for needle felting!!! I am waiting to order this kit on Etsy but I am waiting your reply on my question. I CAN'T WAIT! This is fantastic!!!

    I love your channel! My friend gave me this kit for last Christmas and I am finally getting around to doing it. Do you ever use finger guards! I feel like I'll poke myself so much doing this! I love all the varied textures you use.

    i love love love your tutorials. i know and understand the time and hard work that goes into making these so thank you! i've been learning and love it but am having one issue that im NOT seeing or hearing anything about. I have never seen you or anyone else have this problem either. maybe you could shed some light for me? my needles keep breaking into my work, like alot! i don't know how to get the broken tips out of the work and don't see what it is that i am doing so differently that would cause this to happen??? please help!!!

      Sorry I don't check the comment a lot, I suspect that maybe you just need to slow down a bit so you don't break needles or move to a stronger gauge like 38 or 36. It's terrible to feel like you lost a tip some where ! I've been know to cut a project open searching. Usually my feet find it on the floor!

      geneva mills Its best to hold your needle straight up and down unless your shaping edges. When holding it at an angle be slow and careful

    Come back soon. Totally missing you. Sarafina is good but her tutorial are too complicated at times. You make things easy.

    Why have you stopped making vids?

    • @GypsyFelting
      @GypsyFelting  8 років тому +5

      Well at the time it was a combination of me being really busy and my video people were moving on to other projects; but someday I hope I can make others! For now I recommend Sarafina's ; her techniques have improved my own. Never stop learning. Happy Felting!
